大豆も米と同様によく冷えた地下水で洗い、一晩浸漬する。新たに水をはった大豆を蒸気で煮る。灰汁をこまめに取り除き、不要な成分を煮流す。次に加圧により旨味成分を閉じ込め、ふっくらと蒸しあげる。これを、“半煮半蒸”と呼び、太陽の昇らぬ早朝のうちに煮大豆を仕上げる。

Boil Soybeans

Both rice and soybeans are rinsed with, and soaked in cold water overnight before they are to be ‘half-boiled and half-steamed’. During the boiling process, any bitterness is removed by skimming the surface of the water. Then it is pressure-cooked in order to preserve its flavor and taste.

煮大豆

大豆也和米粒相同，以冰涼的地下水清洗，浸泡一晚。將充滿了水份的大豆以蒸氣燉煮，並仔細撈除湯面的雜質浮沫，直到不要的成份完全去除。接著以加壓的方式持續蒸煮大豆，將其精華完全封存，並以如此「半煮半蒸」的方式趁天還沒亮以前將此步驟完成。

異国の地を目指す心には特有のものがある。空港が放つ異彩な空気は、それのせいもあるのかもしれない。僕は夏の終わりの快晴の空、ASEAN最大の経済国、タイ、その首都バンコクを目指していた。成田からは、おおよそ６時間のフライト。大型飛行機の窓から覗いた景色は、遠くからうねる大いなる川の流れが、青々と茂る草木を分断していた。商談を主とする自分が、既に熱帯の大自然に心奪われていた。

People become characteristic feeling when going abroad. A special atmosphere of an airport will be the result of that. I went to the fine day in the end of summer, the greatest economy in ASEAN, Thailand, and Bangkok. From Narita, it is the flight for 6 hours about. I looked at the scene of Thailand from the window of the large-sized airplane. I was surprised at the big river which surges from a distance, and the plants which grow thick in vivid green. I came in order to have a business talk, but it was already impressed by tropical Nature.

去时外国，人成为特有的感情。机场特别的气氛，是那个的原因吧。我面向了夏天的结束的晴朗的日，ASEAN最大的经济国，泰国，曼谷。是从成田，大体6小时的飞行。我从大型飞机的窗看了泰国的景色。我与从远方起伏的大的河，对青绿地繁茂的草木吃惊。我为了做贸易谈判来了,不过，已经由于热带的大自然感动了。

空港からは専用のバスに乗った。１２年前の個人旅行とは打って変わり、バスは数車線も引かれた幅広のハイウェイをひたすらに走行している。そして並走する車の数の多さと車種の新しさに驚く。この国は今や、世界の自動車産業の拠点であり、それを国民が享受しているのである。開発途中の建造物群は、国は違えど、相変わらず他の勃興する国のそれと同じだと感じた。

We took Buss for exclusive use from the airport. With the time of my coming in 12, it had completely changed. Buss is running the expressway of a number lane straightly. And I was surprised at the numerousness of the number of the cars of an expressway, and the newness of a vehicle type. Now, this country is a base of the auto industry in the world. And it is in people glorifying. I thought that the building in the middle of development was the same as the scene of other rising countries.

我们从机场乘坐了专用的巴士。我到达了时12年完全更换着。巴士数行车线的高速公路很直地行车着。并且我对高速公路的车的数的多村落车型新吃惊。这个国家是现在正是，世界的汽车产业的据点。并且国民讴歌是出发。我想开发途中的建筑物，与其他勃兴的国家的景观一样。

Whenever we repeated inspection and the study meeting of the schedule, we found the present condition of this country. Especially we in consideration of the latest country risk (especially China risk) observe ASEAN even in future Asia. Also geographically, Thailand is located at the center with the maximum economic strength also in it. This country is various key points and is comparatively mild national traits. Therefore, this place will be accepted in the world. Thailand has promoted sightseeing from ancient times. Therefore, it is melting pot here and it can accept other culture.

我们对重复在日程的视察和学习会的时候的每次，这个国家的现状明白了。考虑最近的国家风险（特别是中国风险）的我们，在今后的亚洲也，特别是关注ASEAN。泰国在那个中也伴随最大的经济力，向中心也位于地理的。这个国家，是是各种各样的要点，比较温和的国民性。因此这个地方向世界能接受吧。泰国从很早以前推进了旅游。因此这里是人种的坩埚，能接受其他的文化。

そのような中で、いよいよ商談会が始まった。税や法の体系、人種のるつぼの観点から、現在の和食店のオーナーには華僑の方が多いと云われた。予測が付き辛いため、今回の商談は出たとこ勝負の想定をしていたが、実際はたくさんの引き合いがあった。それは弊社に限らずこの国が、インポーターと小売店、ユーザーが近い距離で存在する環境が、商談成立というゴールを導いたのだろう。日本製品や仲間の活躍が感じられる場所は、思いのほか気分が良かった。

Under such circumstances, the business talk meeting started still more. The manager of the present Japanese-style food store was told that there were many Chinese people from a viewpoint of a tax, law, and melting pot. Since I was not able to do prediction, I thought that this business talk was difficult. In practice, there was a talk of much business. As for it, not only our company but other companies were so. This country exists in distance with an importer, a retail store, and a near user. Probably, this drew the goal called business talk formation. I felt the reputation of Japanese products, and the friend’s activity.

在那样的中，终于贸易谈判会开始了。一般认为从税金和法律，人种的坩埚的观点，向(到)现在的日餐店的经营者中国人多。我因为预测不能，想此次的贸易谈判难。实际有很多的商务的话。那个也是不仅仅是敝社还有，其他的公司那样。这个国家，与进口商零售店，用户以近的距离存在。这个，引导了贸易谈判成立这个球门吧。我感到日本制品的评价和朋友的活跃。

ASEANの中心的役割を担い、他国に柔軟な姿勢をとる国は、それだけでたくさんの魅力に溢れている。とりわけ僕たち日本人には、親日という旗が協力体制を促す。一方、頻繁な水害に慣れた国民は、半ばどうしようもないそれを受け入れ、楽しもうとする様子さえ伺える。それはどこか雪害の被害を声高にしない、“雪国東北”の私たちにも似ているように思える。僕のブースについたトランスレーターのピンさんが云う。「タイ人は、皆さんが思った以上に気を遣います。そして、“大丈夫”が口癖という、繊細な人たちです。」と。

Thailand is central existence of ASEAN and is a posture flexible in a foreign country. Therefore, there is much charm here. The national traits of friendship demand structure for cooperation from us the Japanese. On the other hand, people of Thailand have accepted frequent flood damage. The figure also resembles us of “the snowy country in Japan, and the northeast area” with snow damage. A translator, Mr. Pin, who cooperated in my business talk said. “More than you thought of Thais, they are anxious. And “May be OK” is a way of speaking. They are delicate people. ”

泰国是ASEAN中心的存在。并且是向(到)他国柔软的姿势。因此这里有很多的魅力。到我们日本人，友好这个国民性催促合作体制。另一方面，泰国的人们接受频繁的水灾。那个身姿与雪灾有，“日本的多雪的地方，东北地区”的我们也相似。配合我的贸易谈判的翻译的大头针先生说了。「泰国人，为诸位既然考虑使用气。并且，”没问题”是口头语。他们是纤细的人们。」

数年前、仕事として異国の地を歩く姿を、勝手に夢見ていました。「願えば叶う」という、よくある言葉を、こんなにも短い時間に体験することを、当時の自分は想像ができていませんでした。そして今は、具体的な目標を定めようとしています。まず第一に、世界に恥じない企業にすること。また個人としては、異国を知ることで、業界や経営者の枠組みを超え、フットワークを軽く、ときに文化の融合と分離を思い切ってできるような、ハイブリットな存在になりたいと思います。

学生の時分に訪れた、初めての海外の地、タイ、バンコク。自分はこの地を１２年ぶりに訪ね、“これからの仕事”にしようとしています。異文化をインプットし、何をアウトプットしようとするのか。またここに綴りたいと思います。
