    Dalian Station – Dalian Jinzhou New Area Local Finance Bureau – Dongshan Observatory – Development Area shangchang – TEPCO – Modern coarse grains

    大連では路面電車が発達している。料金も１元（約１３円）と格安で運行している。こちらに乗って大連駅まで移動。
    The streetcar is developed in Dalian. The charge also operates by being cheap with 1 yuan (about 13 yen). It rides here and moves to Dalian Station.

    最新の車両から、戦前に使用されていたものまでがあり、自分が乗りたかったのは古い車両。内装も予想以上にしっかりしていて、感慨深いものだった。
    There was from the newest vehicles to a thing currently used for prewar days. It is old vehicles that I wanted to ride. Interior was also solid beyond anticipation and interesting.
    上野駅を模した大連駅も、向かいにそびえるのは現代的なビル群。平日の昼下がりでも多くの人が利用していた。
    Dalian Station has imitated Ueno Station. There is a modern building group in the other side at a station. Many people also used the daytime of the weekday.
    開発区まで移動する電車の始発駅は大連駅裏の軽軌大連駅。まだ建設途中ではあったが、大連駅とは対照的な一面ガラス張りの近代的な建物。
    The starting station of the train where it moves to a Development Area is Dalian Light Rail Station of Ura of Dalian Station. This station still existed in the middle of construction. It is a modernistic building of whole surface glazing contrastive with Dalian Station.
    開発区までは６元（約７８円）、３０分ほどで移動できた。駅を出てすぐに見えたのは、工事中の大掛かりな建造物。一体この勢いで、どこまでいこうというのか。
    It has moved in 6 yuan (about 78 yen) and about 30 minutes up to the Development Area. The large-scale building under construction came out of the station, and appeared immediately. How far does it say it relaxes with this vigor?
    開発区が近づくに連れ、建設中のマンションやビル、発電所などが現れ、発展途中の工業都市の様相を呈してきた。
    The Development Area took for approaching and the apartment and building under construction, plant, etc. appeared. The figure of the industrial city in the middle of development was in sight. 
    昨日お世話になったQi Bolinさんが勤める大連金州新区財政局を案内していただいた。開発区の勢いは衰えることなく、着実に目標に向かっているようだ。
    Dalian Jinzhou New Area Local Finance Bureau for which Mr. Qi Bolin who was indebted yesterday works showed around. It seems that the vigor of the Development Area is going to the target steadily, without declining. 
    開発区を一望できるUFO型の展望台、東山視景台も案内していただいた。東山の頂きに立ち、さらに標高の高い展望台屋上は、流石に寒かった。
    Carrying-out-form of UFO Dongshan Observatory also showed around. It stood on the summit of the mountain of Dongshan, and also was cold in the observatory roof where altitude is high truly.
    ここから見渡すことのできるマンションは、ほぼすべてが埋まっているそうだ。住まいに人の夢が詰まっているのは、いつ、どの場所でも同じだ。
    It is said that a contract of all is made mostly in the apartment which can be overlooked from here. It is the same to see people’s dream to a home at every place.
    開発区の街並は、もちろん計画的につくられている。東西南北まっすぐ伸びる路に立ち並ぶビルは、近代都市の姿である。
    The rows of houses of the Development Area are built intentionally natural. The way extended in north, south, east and west and the building located in a line there are the figures of a modern city.
    開発区でも市場調査を行う。大連市街に比べて豊かな人々が住まう開発区はひとつグレードが高い印象を持つ。
    Market research is performed also in a Development Area. This place in which rich people live compared with the inside of Dalian has the impression that one grades are high.
    新しい港を建設中の開発区は、やはり魚売り場が盛況であった。日本に於ける中国の報道は、何かと衛生面が目につくが、ここでは生魚が量り売りされている。
    The Development Area while building a new harbor had the prosperous fish counter too. The Chinese report in Japan takes up something and a health side. However, raw fish sells by measure here.
    売り場内で製麺をしているあたりが中国らしい。日本でも気軽な生麺、生パスタの量り売りなどのサーヴィスは、新しい切り口になると思う。
    I thought that seemingly it was China to make noodles in a counter. I think that Sir screws, such as sale by measure of fresh noodles lighthearted also in Japan, become the new method of eating habits.
    すっかり日も暮れ、帰宅ラッシュで開発区から市内方面に向かう車が込み合っていた。大連市内に住まい、開発区に働きにくる工場労働者が多いからだ。
    It grew dark completely and the car which goes in the direction of in the city from a Development Area in the going-home rushes was crowded. It is because there are many factory workers who live in Dalian and come for work to a Development Area.
    Qiさんの紹介で穀物料理専門店の現代粗粮で食事をいただく。大連の料理は東北家庭料理というカテゴリであると聞く。どの料理もしっかりとしていた。
    A meal is obtained by Modern coarse grains of a grain dish specialty store in introduction of Mr. Qi. He hears that the food of Dalian is a category called northeast home cooking. Any food was delicious.
    外内装にも抜け目がない同店には、若い女性たちがふらりと入っていった。それが開発区のいまを象徴しているように思えた。
    ここ数年で大連市内の人口を開発区が上回り、さらに発展に十分な余地のある開発区の税収は増える一方である。ゆくゆくは新空港、新港が整備され中国東北部の貿易の要となる街の構想は順調に進んでいる。云わば、憧れの街と化している。開発区のマンションに住み、自家用車を持ち、流行の店で食事を楽しむ。その夢をいち早く体現するのが若い女性たちである。様々な欲望が渦巻き、同時に純粋な憧れと夢を内包する開発区は、先進国で失われた、かつての憧れの街であり、だからこそ、これからも注目すべき街であった。
    Young women went into the said store of the exterior of fashion, or interior freely. I was able to think that it symbolized the now of a Development Area.
    The Development     Area has exceeded the population of the Dalian city area in the past several years, and also the tax revenues of a development Area with sufficient room for development is increasing steadily. The concept for the town which a new airport and a new harbor are improved from now on, and serves as an important point of trade of the China northeast part is going smoothly. If it says, it has turned into the town of yearning. Live in the apartment of a Development Area, have a privately-owned car, and enjoy a meal in the store of fashion. Young women respond to the dream promptly. The Development Area which various desires whirl and includes pure yearning and dream simultaneously was a town which should be observed from now on.

    大連の朝は早い。多くの店が午前９時ごろから開けているようだ。僕たちは早くから行動を開始した。
    It is early in the morning of Dalian. It seems that many stores have opened since around 9:00 a.m. I started action from early.
    多くの庶民に利用される天津街食品商場は多くの食材が並び、その場で食べられる総菜も多かった。朝食も外で食べる機会が多いからだ。
    Tianjin Town Ghangchang used for many people also had many daily dishes which many foods are located in a line and eaten on that spot. It is because there are many opportunities to also eat breakfast outside.
    やはり、お茶は数種類の扱いがあった。お茶を飲む習慣は根強く定着しているが、最近の若年層はコーヒーを好んで飲むようになったという。
    After all, tea had treatment of several kinds. Although the custom of drinking tea is established firmly, the latest younger age group says that coffee is liked and he came to drink it.

    大連中心部に位置する中山広場では、車が途絶えなかった。歴史的な趣ある建物が周囲を取り囲む、大連の象徴的な広場である。
    A car did not stop in Zhongshan Square located in the Dalian central part. A historical emotional building is a symbolic open space in Dalian which encloses the circumference.

    路の両端に食品やら衣類やらの市場が立ち並ぶ。夏場は夜遅くまで賑わうのだという。様々な年齢層が利用していた。
    The market of food or clothing stands in a row to the both ends of a way. It is said that it is crowded till late at night summer. Various age groups used.

    一本路地を入ると古い建物や建設中のものが混在している。街並もまだまだ途中の段階であり、これからどのように形成されていくのだろうか。
    If an alley is entered, the old building and the thing under construction are intermingled. Rows of houses are also intermediate stages still more. How are they formed after this?
    ファストフードも至る所に出店していた。意外なことに利用客は、年齢層関係なく分布しているそうだ。
    The fast food was also opening a shop everywhere. It is said that the customer in various age groups uses for the unexpected thing.

    日系百貨店、久光百貨に到着。ほとんど日本と変わらない雰囲気ではあるが、中国にしてはこじんまりとしている印象。こちらもマイカルも、やはり地下の高級スーパーは撮影禁止であった。
    A Japanese department store and Jiuguang Department Store are reached. The impression carried out in a small way for China although it is the atmosphere which is hardly different from Japan. The underground high-class supermarket also of Dalian MYCAL here was the ban on photography too.

    老若男女の庶民で賑わうニューマートは非常に興味深い店舗であった。諸外国の影響と云うよりも、中国らしい店のつくりと空気感。気取らない活気が魅力的だ。
    The New Mart crowded with people of young and old of both sexes was a very interesting store. It is not subject to the influence of foreign countries, and is the structure and a feeling of air of a store in character with China. Unaffected vigor is attractive.

    食品売場も広く、朝に見た天津街食品商場よりも品揃えが多く、価格もこなれている。小綺麗で、わくわくするような商品陳列。
    A food floor is also large, rather than Tianjin Town Ghangchang seen at the morning, there are many products offered and the price is also being digested. Goods exhibition which is pretty and exciting.

    膨大な数の液体調味料が並ぶ。このラインナップを現地の人は使い分けているのかと訊ねると、使い分けてはいないとのこと。消費者の数が膨大だからか、日本では考えられない商品数。
    A huge number of liquid seasonings are located in a line. When the person of a spot inquires whether this lineup uses properly, it is a thing that it does not use properly. Since the number of consumers is huge, the number of goods which is not considered in Japan.

    ファッション誌も相当な量のラインナップ。これだけあると単純に楽しいのだが、やはりここもこれだけ乱立していながら成立できる不思議がある。
    Lineup of quantity also with a considerable fashion magazine. If it is this much, it is simply pleasant, but there is a wonder which can be materialized while flooding also here this much too.
    昼食を取ろうと最上階のレストランフロアへ。ここが面白いのは、各フロアの店員も一般客に混じり、食事、休憩をしているところ。客が引くことはなく、終止混雑していた。
    It is to the restaurant floor of the highest floor to have a lunch. The salesclerk of each floor is also resting by having a meal together with a general visitor. A visitor was not pulling and it was carrying out termination confusion.

    フロア全体が巨大なフードコートのような仕組みであり、多くの店がバイキング形式を採用していた。品数を多くみたい僕たちからすると、歓迎できるシステム。
    The whole floor is structure like a huge food court, and many stores had adopted Viking form. The system which can be welcomed considering me who would like to eat many number of articles.

    一人につき６品程度オーダーした。味はどれも悪くなく、意外なのは野菜が多いこと。また、中華料理は大勢でたくさんの料理を囲むイメージがあるのだが、若年層は体系や健康を気にして２品ほどしか食べていなかった。
    About six per one person were ordered. It is that each taste is delicious and unexpected one has many vegetables. Moreover, although many Chinese food had an image which comes out and surrounds much dish, the younger age group cared about a system and health, and was eating only about two articles.

    大連商場も地元庶民に人気のある店。こちらもテイクアウトの総菜が数多く並んでいた。このような昼食の取り方が主流になっているという。
    The store where Dalian Shangchang is also popular among local people. Many daily dishes of the takeout here were located in a line. It is said that how to eat such lunch is in use.

    日本の百貨店、デパ地下のような高級店舗がトレンドリーダーであり、そこが僕たちのメインターゲットである。しかし、中国的な魅せ方の店舗に元来の力が漲るように感じられた。ベースを支えている庶民の大きな大きな力が、その国の本当の力だと思うからだ。
    一方で思い知らされたことは、世代間でのギャップが激しさを増しているということ。それは食生活にこそ顕著に現れているように思う。主食の米の消費量が落ちた日本人の辿った道を、中国はどのように歩んでゆくのだろう。
    A high-class store like the department store in Japan is a trend leader, and that is my main target. However, it was thought that original power overflowed with the store of the China atmosphere. It is because the big, big power of the people supporting a base thinks that it is the true power of the country.
    On the other hand, it was surprised that the gap between generations is increasing violence. I regard it as having appeared just on eating habits notably. How does China follow and it will die the way which the Japanese to whom the amount of consumption of the rice of the staple food fell followed.

  • 中国・大連商談会市場調査について　一日目

    昨年、湯沢市が主宰する海外販路拡大セミナーに参加した縁があり、稲庭手延製麺株式会社様からお声掛けをいただき、今回の事業に参加させていただきました。僕は主に現地の市場調査を担当することになりました。中国東北部に位置する港湾都市、大連を４泊５日というスケジュールで調査をして参りました。放射能問題を抱える日本の現状では、どういうかたちであれ、外に出ることを切望しておりました。そして、またとない機会を得ることができ、感謝の気持ちは絶えることがありません。また、それに見合う成果を得られたと自負しております。ここに、そのレポートを残したいと思います。

    秋田空港―羽田空港―成田空港―大連空港―日航飯店―日本料理屋―日航飯店

    About China and the Dalian business talk meeting market research   _The first day 
    I participated in the overseas market expansion seminar which Yuzawa superintends last year. It is invited from Inaniwa Tenobe Seimen Co.,Ltd which became acquainted then, and I was allowed to participate in this enterprise. I will take charge of the market research of a spot. The harbor city and Dalian which are located in the China Azuma northern part were investigated to the schedule of four nights and five days. Since the problem of radioactivity had Japan, I wished to go abroad. And I am glad to be able to obtain an opportunity to go out. 
    Moreover, it is self-confident as that the result corresponding to it was able to be obtained. I would like to leave the report here. 
    October 26 (Wed) 
    Akita Airport – Haneda Airport – Narita Airport – Dalian Airport – Hotel Nikko -Japanese restaurant – Hotel Nikko 
    仙台空港が被災し、再開までの目処が未だに立っていない。朝８時前出航の便に乗り、秋田―羽田―成田経由での大連入りは、到着が現地時間４時過ぎの一日がかりの移動となった。
    Sendai Airport suffers a great deal of damage, and the prospect to resumption does not yet stand. It rode on the plane of a departure ago 8:00 in the morning, and, as for arriving in Dalian via Akita – Haneda – Narita, arrival became movement on the first of past 4:00. 
    飛行機を降りると、早速の飛行場内バスでの移動。少し肌寒いが、忙しない中国人ビジネスマンの姿が目立っていた。
    We came down and moved the airplane by bus in an airfield. It was somewhat chilly in the spot and the restless Chinese businessman’s figure was conspicuous. 
    まだまだ改装中の大連空港は揮発性物質の匂いが嫌味なほどに漂う、不快で真新しい空港だった。場所によっては呼吸器を覆いたくなるような中、人々の往来は絶えることが無かった。
    The Dalian Airport under modification was an unpleasant and brand-new airport which drifts, so that the smell of volatile matter is ironic still more. Although we wanted to come to cover respiratory organs, people’s traffic did not cease. 
    空港からタクシーを待つ人々の群れ。そのほとんどが日本人。騙そうとする輩と、真摯に仕事をこなす職員が混在する場所。このカオスが中国・大連そのもの。
    The group of people who wait for a taxi from an airport. The most is a Japanese. The fellows who try to deceive, and the place where the personnel who manage work earnestly are intermingled. This chaos is China and Dalian itself. 
    相変わらずの荒いタクシーの運転と、一昨年前に見たイミテーションの車が走っていない現実。ここは高級車がしっかりと高級車でいられる場所になったということ。
    Reality which operation of a rude taxi as usual and the car of the imitation seen before the year before last are not running. Say that it became a place in which a luxury car can be present with a luxury car firmly here. 
    大連駅周辺では多くのクレーンが見え、まだまだ開発が進む。スモッグが掛かる街は、大連市民にとって、もはや当たり前の景色と化したのか。
    Many cranes appear and development progresses still more around Dalian Station. Has the town which requires smog already turned into a natural scene for Dalian residents? 
    五つ星のホテル、日航飯店は流石の内装とスタッフ陣だった。ロビーでは日本語堪能なスタッフと、日本人ビジネスマンで溢れていた。
    Hotel Nikko of the five-star hotel was true interior and members of the staff. In a lobby, there were many staff who can speak Japanese, and Japanese businessmen. 
    その日の夜は大連市経済貿易局招商一局のQi Bolinさんの紹介で日本料理店を視察。鯛の刺身や納豆など、日本と変わらないようなメニューが並ぶ。醤油は出し入りのものであった。
    The Japanese restaurant was inspected on the night of the day by introduction of Mr. Qi Bolin of the Dalian economy International Trade Administration Bureau. They were menus which are not different from Japan, such as sliced raw fish, fermented soybeans, etc. of a sea bream. Broth was contained in soy sauce. 
    一般に利用できそうな飲食店はスタイリッシュな姿となり、身なりに気を遣った顧客が食を謳歌している。これも、昨年の上海で見た景色と異なるところ。速さを知らないことは、愚かであると思う。
    The restaurant which is generally used serves as a stylish figure, and the customer who was anxious about the dress is glorifying food. A different place from the scene which this also looked at in Shanghai last year. I think it foolish not to know speed. 
    一方でコンビニエンスストアは、まだまだかつての景色であった。ただし、同じような雰囲気でも異彩を放つのは洋酒の存在。ここにも時代の速さが存在している。
    On the other hand, the convenience store was a still once scene. However, it is existence of wine that it is conspicuous also in the same atmosphere. The speed of a time exists also here. 
    大連は歴史ある街。路面電車のレールが路の中央に敷かれた、いにしえの街。今も豊かな港湾都市。片側二車線の道路を車のヘッドライトが止むこと無く交差する。トレンチコートに身を包んだ若い娘が自由に闊歩する都市である。
    われわれ日本人はまだまだ誤解をしている。発展途上国というレッテルは、自分から遠いどこかではないかと。それは決して遠くはなく、行き交う人も同じ人である。いや、これは僕自身の穿った心の現れなのだろう。昨年上海を訪問した僕の価値観は、初日にして、もはや崩壊していたのかもしれない。
    Dalian is a historied town. The town of antiquity where the rail of the streetcar was laid in the center of a way. A still rich harbor city. It crosses without the headlight of a car stopping the road of single-sided 2 lane. It is a city which the young daughter who wrapped herself in the trench coat strides freely. 
    We the Japanese have misunderstanding still more. A label called developing countries is as it is somewhere far from itself. It is by no means far and those who go back and forth are also the same persons. No, probably, this is expression of the heart which me myself dug. The sense of values of me who visited Shanghai last year was made into the first day, and possibly has already collapsed.

    About the Shanghai training trip in ‘Wakamurasaki’  -The fifth day-

    October 27 (Wed)

    晴天の日が少ないという上海もこれで見納め。この橋を再び渡って祖国まで。
    It takes a last look at Shanghai with a little fine day today. We cross again this bridge and return to mother country Japan.

    高度経済成長を思わせる画一的な建物群。僕は団地の良さも知っているつもりですが、少し複雑な気持ちになりました。
    We were able to see a uniform apartment of a housing complex like the era of high-speed economic growth of Japan. These were seen and it became a little complex feelings though I knew goodness in the apartment of a housing complex.

    一年後には見ることができない光景かもしれません。このタイミングで見ることができて本当に良かった。
    It might be a spectacle that cannot be seen in one year. It was able to see in this timing and was really good.


    万博の会場も一部のパヴィリオンを残し解体するそうです。これもまた過渡期の眺めとなるのでしょう。
    The hall of the Expo seems also to leave a part of pavilion and to dismantle it. This might become a view only now, too.

    リニアモーターカーに乗るため改札へ。ついに訪れた別れのとき。
    To get on the linear motor car, we lived in the examination of tickets. Separating finally came.


    構内で到着を待ちます。利用客は外国人とビジネスマンばかり。
    We await arrival in premises of the station. The user was only a foreigner and a businessman.

    天候もあり、本日の最高速度は時速301km。静かで揺れもなく、早さの実感はありませんでした。
    Today’s maximum speed is 301km per hour because of the weather. There was quietly not a shake, and either earliness was not actually felt.


    予定通り、日本へのフライトの2時間前に到着。
    It arrived two hours before the flight to Japan according to schedule.


    朝の上海空港は到着時の夜の雰囲気とは印象が全く違います。この日は多くの渡航客で溢れていました。
    As for the Shanghai airport of the morning, the impression is quite different from the atmosphere at night when arriving. This day overflowed with a lot of making a passage guests.


    飛行機の小さな窓から見えるわずかな景色。その雲の切れ間から時折覗く広い海原。その景色にもいくらか慣れた頃、陸地がようやく見えはじめたときの安心感は何度旅を繰り返しても変わることはないのでしょう。海外の都市もそれぞれ魅力はあります。しかし外の世界を知れば知るほど、自国のことを想わないことはありません。離れてみてはじめて分かることがあります。約3時間のフライトは機内食をいただいているとあっと言う間です。上海は秋田から、決して遠い街ではありませんでした。
    Small window of airplane. Seaview at which it sometimes peeps at intervals of cloud seen there. I am impressed by the travel of the sense of security when the land in Japan is seen. An overseas city is attractive respectively. However, whenever returning to Japan after it goes out, it never thinks of the home country. I thought that I might understand only after it parted. The flight of about three hours arrives at once when it eats the in-flight meal. Shanghai was not a town far from Akita.

    開場間もなくも、パヴィリオンには早くも人だかりができていました。
    The doors was opened and the crowd were already made in the pavilion. 


    スペイン館の踊り子のパフォーマンス。人が途絶えないほどの人気ぶりでした。
    Performance of dancer in Spanish pavilion. It was popularity by not breaking off the person. 
    有名なビッグベビーも間近で。サイズが違うと違和感が出る不思議。可愛いらしくも奇妙。
    I closely saw a famous big baby. Because the sense of incompatibility occurs when the size is different, it feels it mysteriously. It was strange though was lovely. 
    イギリス館の鋭い先端には、様々な種子が付いているとのことです。
    I hear that various seeds had adhered to the point with a sharp British pavilion.
    アフリカの展示が一番見慣れなく、目新しく映りました。
    The exhibition of Africa was the strangest, and it reflected in a novel manner. 
    ブラックの女性が本当に奇麗でした。
    A black woman was really beautiful. 
    ランチは財布と相談しながらのロシアのコース料理。価格以上の満足度が得られました。
    Lunch is a course dish of gorgeous Russia. The satisfaction rating more than the price was obtained. 
    万博自体に興味のない自分でしたが、こういったヴィジュアルなアプローチには共感をします。
    Such externals sympathize with a beautiful method though I was not interested in the Expo. 
    並んで入った中国館では国宝の展示も。出し惜しみなく行われています。
    The national treasure also was exhibited in a Chinese pavilion. The exhibition is done without the grudge. 
    中国館の展示は流石に規模が違いました。中でもこの見せ方は美しく思いました。
    As for the exhibition of a Chinese pavilion, the scale was indeed different. I especially thought this how to show it to be beautiful. 
    連日の行列が続く中国館。国を挙げてのイヴェントということを実感します。
    Chinese pavilion where procession of every day follows. The event of offering the country is actually felt. 
    万博を無事見学し、北京料理をこってりと堪能。ここに来てはじめて食べるスタンダードな中華メニューに皆さんが舌鼓を打ちました。
    After having visited the Expo, we ate the Beijing dish. We were satisfied with a basic Chinese menu. 
    メゾンの選択する上海での展開は外観から分かるとおり、王道でブレない展開。
    How in Shanghai in high-level maison to show it does standard development as understood from externals.
    上海は建物の個性もさることながら、周囲とのライティングが秀逸だと思います。
    I think that the writing with surroundings besides individuality in the building is excellent of Shanghai. 
    今宵は上海最後の夜。皆さん夜の世界へと消えていきました。
    Tonight is a night of the Shanghai end. We went out to the town of the night.
    以下にナイトクルーズの写真を挙げております。自分のかつての渡航先でもナイトクルーズはしておりますが、360度パノラマのクルージングというのは上海ならではと思います。旧上海と新上海の比較や歴史的建造物と高層ビル群の対比。思わず唸るような光景がそこには広がっていました。
    The photograph of the night cruise is put as follows. I am always doing the night cruise by the destination. It is wonderful that the cruise of Shanghai can see the night view in all 360 degrees, directions. The comparison between the comparison between Old Shanghai and New Shanghai and the landmark and the cluster of high-rise buildingss is interesting. We were able to see the spectacle that was only here.
