テレビ塔の下では、色鮮やかな旗が風に揺れていました。

The vivid color flag shook to the wind under the Oriental Pearl Tower.

時折雨がちらつく中、建物の外でもしばらく並んでいました。

We were queuing up for a while outside the building though it sometimes rained.

手荷物検査の後も周囲をぐるりと廻るほど並ばなければなりませんでした。

We had to queue up for a long time after the baggage inspection.

直通エレベータに乗る間際では、上海万博の開会式の様子がモニターで取り上げられていました。

When we took a direct elevator, the appearance of the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Expo was taken up by the monitor.

２時間半かけて辿り着いた景色は、残念ながら予想通りの見え具合。

Scenery had reached at last spending two and a half time was regrettable scenery.

床が透ける演出も、天気のお陰で怖さが半減。助かったとでも言うべきでしょうか。

Because view was bad, I was not scared though it was production that the floor is transparent. Should I say that I survived?

上部は開放されていて、空気の冷たさで高さに実感が湧きます。子供の撮影も行われていました。

The upper part is opened, and height seems real to one in the cold of air. The child’s taking a picture was done.

少し階を下ると、ようやく景色が見えてきました。旧上海はまるでヨーロッパの街のよう。

At last, scenery has come into view when a little descending the floor. The sea is like a way of the town in Europe.

一方の新上海の景色。近代都市の姿がありました。

Scenery in other new Shanghai. There was an appearance of the modern city.

帰りがけにCity Superに寄りました。定番の上海蟹が並んでいました。

It came near to City Super as one leaves. A standard Shanghai crab was queuing up.

日本の食品もかなりの品揃えでした。日本語、英語、中国語の混在する広告を新鮮に思いました。

The food of Japan was considerable goods in stock. I thought the advertisement where Japanese, English, and Chinese existed together to be interesting.

街の灯りが奇麗に見えだしたころ、突然の雨に見舞われました。

When the light of the town began to look beautiful, it suffered from sudden rain.

夕食は海鮮料理。これまでの賑やかなレストランとは異なり、落ち着いた食事となりました。

Supper is seafood dinner. It differed from a lively current restaurant, and we ate slowly.

接客の女性たちにも愛想がありました。

Women of serving also had affability.

上海雑伎団鑑賞のため劇場へ。すでに入り口から華やかな空気が伝わってきます。

To appreciate the Shanghai Acrobat, we faced the theater. A lively appearance has already been transmitted from the entrance.

鍛えられた体は美しく、相当な高さのパフォーマンスでした。

Her strengthened body was beautiful, and she was doing the performance in a considerably high place.

もちろん、団員の息はぴったり。コミカルな演目も。

Of course, the member’s unity is strong. There was the comical one in the repertoire.

バイク8台が同時に疾走する最後の演目は、圧巻の迫力でした。

The last repertoire where eight motorcycles went at the same time was power of the masterpiece.

気がつけば21時。二日目の長い長い観光スケジュールが終わりました。

It is 21 o’clock if it notices. The second day long, long sightseeing schedule ended.

お酒を飲もうと中川さんの案内で和食レストランまで歩いて移動。夜歩きは現地をリアルに感じることができます。

It moved walking to the Japanese restaurant by guiding Nakagawa so that everyone might drink sake. As for going out at night, I can feel the locale in the round.

明るく生活感のある露店を横目に、二日目の夜が更けていきました。

I walked while seeing the shop with the life feeling. We were able to spend it happily after this.

外灘へと向かいました。上海有数の繁華街では、車もなかなか進みません。

We headed for Bund. Here is Shanghai, best downtown, and the car doesn’t advance easily either.

上海万博最終週ということもあり、地方からの人で外灘も賑わっていました。

There during a Shanghai Expo final week, and Bund was crowded with the person from the provinces, too.

こちら側、旧上海から川の向こう側、新上海（ニュー上海と説明されました。）を多くの人が満喫しています。

A lot of people are enjoying an opponent and new Shanghai in the river from the sea.

中国の現在そのもの。数と勢い、そのままを感じます。

Now of China. I feel the number, power, and the state as it is.

かつての銀行、新聞社、領事館などを当時のまま残していることはとても素晴らしいことです。

It is wonderful to have left as it is the bank, the newspaper, and the consulate before.

荘厳でヴォリュームのある建物の間の道は、どこの国とも言い表せない独特の雰囲気があります。

The road between buildings it is solemn and with the volume is peculiar atmosphere that cannot be expressed the country where.

車が通らなければ人で道路が埋まってしまう状態。ここは渋谷とも、また別の感覚です。

If the car doesn’t pass, the road is buried by the person. Shibuya and another sense.

大都市の真ん中でも、前時代のものが残っているようです。

The one in the former age seems to remain at the center of the big city.

上海唯一の歴史が残る街、豫園が近づくと、欧米の方が増えてきました。

Europe and America has increased when Yuyuan that is the town where the only Shanghai history remains approaches.

想像していた中国と一致するような景色。外灘とは対照的。

Corresponding scenery to China that imagined it. It contrasts it with Bund.

国内観光も盛んに行われているようです。

Domestic sightseeing seems to be done actively.

小さなお店が所狭しと並び、売り子の女性がたくさんいました。

A small shop queued up, and there were a lot of saleswomen.

小龍包の一番の繁盛店では、店の周りで食べる人も。

In the best prosperity shop of Xiaolongbao, the person who ate in surroundings of the shop was, too.

赤、黒、金の色使いの建物が、あちらこちらに立ち並んでいます。

It lines with a red, black, golden building here and there.

昼食は飲茶で小龍包も。僕は今回の旅行で飲茶が一番おいしいと思いました。

As for us, lunch ate Xiaolongbao by Chinese tea and snacks. I thought that Chinese tea and snacks were the most delicious in this travel.

三穂堂の中の照明。装飾が非常に奇麗。

Lighting in temple. The decoration is very beautiful.

窓の細工には、願いを込めた漢字の形にしています。

The work of the window puts the wish and has the shape of the Chinese character.

お見合い用の廊下では、窓から相手を覗いていたようです。面白い習慣。

It seems to have peeped at the other party from the window of the passage for the meeting with a view to marriage. It is an interesting custom.

足つぼの原型になったという床石。客の疲れを労ったとか。

Floor stone that became prototype of foot jar. Guest’s tiredness was treated kindly.

バスまで市場を通って帰りました。異国の生活感のある景色が一番興味が湧いてきます。

It returned to the bus through the market. I am interested in scenery with the life feeling.

カットフルーツをよく見かけました。

We often saw the cut fruit.

生活の匂いがするところは魅力的です。しばらく過ごしてみたくなるところでした。
The place where it smells like life is attractive. I became it wanted to be for a while here.

10月24日（日）

October 24 (Sun)

二日目の朝、同室の内藤さん（内藤醤油店*／横手市）も窓からの景色を写真に収めていました。

Mr. Naito of this room (Naito soy sauce shop/Yokote) also was taking in the photograph scenery from the window in the morning of the second day.

二人で荷造りをしながら、僕は窓際から室内にカメラを向けました。

I pointed one’s camera at from the window side indoors while packing it by two people.

天気は好転せずの雨。日曜ということもあり上海駅周辺の人通りはまばら。

The weather is to our regret rain during the second day. Traffic around Shanghai Station is sparse because it is Sunday morning.

一つ道を入ると、ひと昔前の姿を見ることができました。彼らには日常の風景。

When we entered the alley, we were able to see the appearance Shanghai before. It is scenery in them usually.

駅前から市街地に近づくと、二階建てバスも見受けられました。

When we approached the urban area around the station, we were able to see the double-decker.

博物館の周辺はたくさんの車で溢れていました。

The museum surrounding overflowed with a lot of cars.

バスを降りて博物館まで歩いて移動。小雨の日曜日の朝は、それほど日本と変わらない気がしました。

We got off the bus and walked to the museum. The nature just like Japan did the atmosphere of drizzle at Sunday morning too much.

多くの外国人の方も博物館を見るために並んでいました。その国籍は様々。

It queued up so that a lot of foreigners might also visit a museum. The nationality was various.

博物館のスタッフの方が忙しなく動いていました。

The staff in the museum moved restlessly.

以下に上海博物館での写真を挙げます。解説はできませんがせめて雰囲気でも、と、ここに残しておこうと思いました。僕は所蔵品の豊富さと見せ方の巧さに、ついつい時間を忘れてしまいました。この旅でもう一度訪れたい場所のひとつになりました。

The photograph in the Shanghai museum is enumerated as follows. I wanted to leave even only atmosphere at least in the photograph though it was not possible to explain. I have forgotten time inadvertently passes inadvertently in many of the owning goods and good of how to show it. It became one of the places that visited again by this travel.

About the Shanghai training trip in ‘Wakamurasaki’  -First day-

Young man’s meeting ‘Wakamurasaki’ established it in an Akita Prefecture miso soy sauce industrial cooperative society in the summer of this year. The trip of five days to Shanghai was decided in the gathering including a meaning and an overseas inspection that deepened friendship. Shanghai is the most interesting city in the world for me. I wanted to see Shanghai that developed in the worldwide slump now.
I carried about the camera by the travel as much as possible. Externals where a modern city is completed and Shanghai people’s power were interesting. I will chase the day by “minjya” here and introduce the appearance.

October 23 (Sat)
Sendai Airport – Shanghai Airport – Dinner – Hotel – Dining Bar – Hotel

予定通り18時ごろ上海空港に到着しました。早速ガイドのLiさん*とカメラマンさんと合流。

It arrived at the Shanghai airport according to schedule around 18 o’clock. Immediate confluence of Ms. Li of guide and cameraman.

空港からは小型の専用バスに乗って移動しました。

A small special bus moved.

あいにくの雨でしたが、徐々に広がるネオンと車の数に、次第に胸が高鳴りました。

The heart gradually throbbed to the number of neon and car that extended gradually though it was unfortunate rain.

どこを見渡してもネオンが途切れない光景。東京のそれとは異なった景色でした。

Spectacle that neon doesn’t become interrupted when looking about. It was scenery different from that of Tokyo.

夕食は上海料理を案内していただきました。無言で次々と置かれていく料理は意外と野菜中心。

The Shanghai dish was guided to dinner for us. As for the dish silently put one after another, there are unexpectedly a lot of vegetarian dishes.

隣の部屋では結婚式が行われている様子。出席者は特に着飾らないそうです。

The wedding seems to be held in room next to mine. The person present seems not to dress up especially.

夕食の会場の向かいには外国人が建てたゴシックな建物も残っており、上手に利用していました。

The historical building that the foreigner built remained in facing of the hall of the dinnner, and it was used well.

高層建築が当たり前のようにそびえる。私が10年前に訪れた北京とは、比べ物になりませんでした。

It soars like seem being natural the high rise. It did not become a comparison thing with Beijing that I had visited ten years ago.

立体交差する道路までライティングされています。観光や見せ方の概念は日本よりも上手かもしれません。

The lighting is done as for the road to which it overpasses it. In the concept of sightseeing and how to show it, it is good better than Japan.

20時半にDAYS HOTEL SHANGHAI*に到着。上海駅が目の前でした。

It arrives at DAYS HOTEL SHANGHAI at 20:30. Shanghai Station was the presence.

上海駅は奇麗なところでしたが、治安は今ひとつのようです。

The public peace seems to be a little undesirable though Shanghai Station was a beautiful point.

21時、三浦さん（三浦醤油店*／潟上市）のお知り合いの方、上海で飲食店を経営なさる中川さん*の案内でお店へ移動し始めました。

It began to move to the shop for Mr. Nakagawa of the acquaintance of Mr. Miura  (Miura soy sauce shop / Katagami) to guide at 21 o’clock. He is managing the cafe and the bar in Shanghai.

上海の地下鉄は日本と全く変わりません。乗りこなすことができれば、安価で確実な交通手段になります。

The subway in Shanghai is like to Japan. If it gets on and it is possible to digest, it becomes a cheap, reliable transportation.

中川さんのお店『Vindi Vin by Ci5』では、ここ数年で上海でも人気のワインをいただきました。

I got wine in shop ‘Vin Divin’ of Mr. Nakagawa. The popularity of wine seems to have come out in the last few years. 

バーの店員さん。私は中国語が話せないので拙い英語ですが、少し会話をしました。

Clerk in bar. I talked a little because I was not able to speak Chinese though I was poor English.

ほろ酔いでホテルに戻り、部屋のある16階へ。エレベータも豪華な雰囲気。

Return to the hotel by tipsiness, and to the 16th floor with the room. Atmosphere with gorgeous elevator.

非常に落ち着いたホテルでした。ホテル自体の治安も悪くはないそうです。

It was settled very hotel. The hotel public peace seems not to be bad either.

初日に現地の情報を様々な方から聞くことができ、安心して就寝することができました。

It was possible to go to bed being relieved to hear local information from variety at the first day.
