『廃校フェス～潟分校Closing School FES～』　ボクらが作るヘンテコ学校
日本一深い湖として知られる秋田県田沢湖湖畔にひっそりと時を忘れたかのように佇む分校があります。その名は明治15年創立、昭和49年3月に廃校となった『潟分校』。
ボクが通った小学校は鉄筋コンクリートのキレイな学校でしたが、木造の小さなその学校を見た瞬間ハンマーで頭を叩かれたくらいの衝撃が走りました。『甘酸っぱい』とか『懐かしい』とか言葉にすると安っぽいですが、仲の良かった友だちや怖かった先生の顔、もちろん大好きだったあの娘のことも。この廃校となった分校が今もなおボク達に教え続けてくれる大切なこと。
『廃校フェス～潟分校Closing School FES～』はボクらの思いつきで実現したボクらの作る”ヘンテコ゛な学校です。もちろん学校ですからルールもあるし規律のある行動も必要な訳ですが『こんな学校があったら良いなー』って小学生だったあの頃のボクがそう思う、そんな学校になりそうです。
『勉強』も『成績』も大人になった今だからこそ、まあまあそりゃあ大切だってことも分かりますが、年に１度の学園祭『ロックスター』になった『さえない』友だちにまんまと痺れたり、退屈だった授業中先生が言った何気ない言葉に「ハッ」としたあの瞬間。大好きなあの娘のマネをして次の日から「KINKS」ばかり聞いていたり。本当に『勉強』になったことなんかそんなどうでも良いことばかりで、実はそっちの方が本当は今の自分を作る上で『学ぶ』ことが多かったような気がします。 x＝とかy＝とか2乗とか3乗とか、もうどうやっても思い出せない方程式なんかはいくらでもありますが、どうでも良いことは昨日のように覚えていたりして。
『もっとヘンテコな先生がいたら楽しかったのに』とか『学園祭にロックスターが来たら、泣けるほど嬉しいのに』とか『給食のカレーって、なんであんなに美味しいんだよ』って誰もが１度は卒業した場所だからこそ、もう1度たまには振り返っても良いんじゃないかと思います。
学校が好きだった人もそうでなかった人も、もう1度校庭を『全力ダッシュ』して見ませんか？この秋そんな潟分校の教室や体育館を目一杯使った1日限定の『廃校フェス～潟分校Closing School FES2010～』を開催致します。

Closing School FES -Strange school that we make-
There is a branch school to which it stops quietly in the Akita Prefecture Tazawako lake side known as a lake where the top of Japan is deep. The name is ‘Lagoon branch school’ closed in March, the establishment in 1882 and 1974.
I went to a ferroconcrete elementary school. I started the impact of the beating of the head at the moment when the wooden, small school was seen. The loved person was mimicked, and only “KINKS” was heard. The trivial matter is actually ‘Study. ‘And, that thinks of ‘Learn’. There are a lot of equations learnt in old times that cannot be recalled. On the other hand, I remember it is trivial as if yesterday.
‘It might have been happy if there was a stranger teacher’. ‘It might have been glad as it was possible to cry when the lock star came to the campus festival’. ‘The curry of the school lunch might be such why delicious’. I occasionally think that you may turn around of every one degree again because of the place from which it graduated.
I think the school for a favorite person and a person who was not so either to exist. Will you run your best again in the schoolyard regardless of it? The classroom and the gym in the lagoon branch school are used by the day limitation in this autumn. I will hold such Closing School FES2010.

先日、このイヴェントの打ち合わせに行って参りました。廃校フェスは、これまで催されたイヴェントの中でも最大級のものになりそうです。関西や東海地方からチケットを購入された方もいらっしゃるようです。ここでしかないライヴ、ここでしかない授業、ここでしかない物販。かつての“あのとき”に似た潟分校には、“あの懐かしくて甘酸っぱい”そんな経験が詰まった場所になると思います。

“焦香”(こがれこう)とは、高価な香木を使い、何回も染め重ねた日本独特の濃い香色です。ヤマモが厳選した香草や薬味を漬け込み、味を重ねていくことで“焦香”のやわらかい色のように、ほどよく調和するようにしました。

地元農家の協力により、貴重な食材を減農薬契約栽培で収穫し、加工（乾燥、ペースト）することで旨味を凝縮しております。製品一本につき、一食材を漬け込むため、収穫の出来高が製造本数となっております。

【使い方】
ベースがお醤油であっさりしているのでフライにかけるとソースよりもさらりと食べることができます。また、酢や油と相性が良く、お好みで本品に加えるとドレッシングやカルパッチョソースとして召し上がれます。加熱調理では、仕上げに加えると、少量で香草の香りが引き立ちます。ステーキやパスタに重宝します。
【保存方法】
開封後は香りが飛びやすくなります。冷蔵庫で保存し、なるべく早く使い切ってください。

先日10月4日付けの河北新報、「食でつなごう」というコーナーで記事が掲載されました。ひとつぶ堂*のayacoさんの繋がりで“風のアトリエ”*を主宰する千葉啓子さんに取材をしていただきました。自然体でやわらか、それでいて芯の通っている凛とした方で、8月のイヴェント、ゴヨウキキ茂助・カフェ*や私のこれまでの仕事など、初対面ながらたくさんのお話をすることができました。取材を通して、自分自身の感覚を改めて確認することができ、また、するべきことが少し分かったような気がします。
「食でつなごう」では千葉さんが独自に取材を行い、地域の魅力を引き出しています。私もこれから一読者として注目していこうと思います。記事の作成、ありがとうございました。

ゴヨウキキ茂助・カフェ*の出店の際、3MLの井上さん*にお願いして、オリジナルのトレーとマウスパッドをつくることにしました。白井晟一氏のつくりあげた空間で使用するものに、自分たちの気持ちを吹き込みたかったからです。打ち合わせを重ね、両者の焼き印も入れることにしました。
力強い印象の楢材を使用し、木材の質感を十分に感じられるよう、ワックスは薄めの仕上げにしました。ひとつひとつを手作りで行っているため数は少ないですが、販売をしてみようと思います。
以下、ご説明をいたします。

When I open the cafe, I decided to ask Mr./Ms. Inoue, and to make an original tray and mouse pad. It is because it wanted to blow in our feelings to the one used in the space that Mr. Shirai made up. We decided to pile up meeting, and to put the combustion sign of both.
Wax was made finish of thinning so that the quality feeling of wood was felt enough by using the Japanese oak material of a powerful impression. I will sell it though the number is little because it goes handmade one by one.
Hereafter, I will explain.

シンプルなトレーです。シンプルがゆえに強度、作りもしっかりとしています。角の補強、強度を増す方法で、額縁や留めの箱組などに適用する「挽き込み留組」を用いています。
It is a simple tray. Because the tray is simple, strength and making are firmly made. The technique of “HIKIKOMITOMEGUMI” is used by the method of increasing reinforcement and strength of the corner.

納品時にその完成度の高さに驚きました。木目のひとつひとつが異なるので側面が揃うと、綺麗なグラデーションのように見えます。

背面の中央に焼印が入っています。焼き加減がそれぞれ異なるのも、人が仕事を成しているということ。出来上がりに焼印を入れるのは大変緊張する作業です。

大きさの比較のため、キウィを置いてみました。一食分をばっちり載せることができるカフェプレートのようなサイズ感です。

裏返して花台として使用した例です。高さ25mmの多用途の台座として、無垢の楢材に味を出させていくのも面白そうです。

ヤマモでは珍しく、女子高校生5人が訪ねてきた。あどけない表情の彼女たちは、湯沢商工の商業研究班だという。しばらく彼女たちの話を聞いていくうちに、いつの間にかその真っ直ぐな想いやヴァイタリティーに引き込まれていった。
彼女たちは環境に配慮した地熱事業に着目し、地元湯沢の活性化を促そうとしてる。湯沢市の地熱事業は全国的に見ても誇れるほどの実績を上げている。しかし皮肉なことに、それに知名度が伴っているわけではない。彼女たちは手探りで調査を繰り返し、行政や教育機関、一般企業の協力を取り付け、地熱事業を軸に湯沢の街をPRしていこうと考えている。この真っ直ぐな想いと鋭い着眼点から始まった活動は、瞬く間に県の壁を越え、東北六県生徒商業研究発表大会で優勝することとなる。11月には神奈川で全国大会が控えているそうだ。
彼女たちは今後の活動の一環として商品開発も行い、さらに地熱事業や街の関心を広めようとしている。ヤマモにもPR商品を担う一部分として協力をして欲しいとのことであった。彼女たちの活動に参加できることは本当に喜ばしいことであり、こういった若い力が地元から活躍の場を広げていくことは素晴らしいことだ。同じ街に住む仲間として、これまでのように彼女たちらしく、明るく楽しく進めてもらいたいと思う。

They will try to do the product development, and to make the concern of the terrestrial heat business and the town known more in the future. I hear that it also wanted our company to cooperate in the development of the commodity. Being possible to participate in their activities is really joyous. It is wonderful that young person’s power expands the place of activity from local. This activity wants you to develop happily as a companion who lives in the same town.

あたりが暗くなってからの訪問であった。みんな明るく、和気藹々とした雰囲気で話が進む。

味噌と醤油、それぞれ二種類を試食してもらった。彼女たちの頭の中には、出来上がりのイメージが膨らんでいることだろう。
