軒先に融雪プールを設けたことにより巡回路に変更が生じたため、ヤマモの回遊式庭園に用いた飛石が余ることとなりました。１００年以上前に土地の石を活かした庭を再び作庭するにあたり、やはりこの石を踏襲した庭園を目指します。庭の見所に石畳を設け、石による庭園の歴史と現代に再び使うことの意義を印します。
