バケツの春。
豪雪で折れた杏の枝を
バケツの水につけておいた。
しばらく放っておくと、
たくさんつぼみを付けていた。
小さなバケツの中にも
春はもう来ていた。

“Spring” in bucket
The branch of the apricot that broke because of the heavy snow was put in the water of the bucket.
A lot of buds put it on the branch though it left for a while.
It had already come to a small bucket in spring.

四代目の仕事。
家の整理をしていたら、
埃をかぶったマッチが出てきた。
どうやら僕のひいおじいさん、
つまりは四代目が作ったそうだ。
彼は岩崎の村長を勤め上げた
相当のキレ者と聞いている。
しかしながらこのマッチ、
味噌醤油屋が“マッチ”というのも
得てして妙だが、
なぜに“海老”！？

When I was arranging the house, the old match came out.

私たちの作品が使われることは、
つくり手にとって、本当に本当に嬉しい。
卒業、送別会の贈り物に
ヤマモの味噌を選んでもらった。
そんな、大切なときだから
人から人へ手渡したときにも、
その心遣いが見えて欲しい。
包装の真っ白さや、やわらかな手触りが、
もらった瞬間の、人の心に溶け込んで欲しい。
雪国のあたたかさが伝わって欲しい。

ささやかな幸せになれたらいいと思う。

We are really glad that our work is used for a present.
YAMAMO’s Miso were chosen as a gift of the graduation.
When the gift was given, I want them to be most glad.
I want you to know the atmosphere of the snowy district by snow whiteness of the packing and the soft feel.
I hope that people become a little happiness with the goods of YAMAMO.

周囲に春を匂わせる。
香から思い出す春の記憶は、
ぽかぽかで淡紅色で気持ちがいい。

冬の仕事人。
一面を覆ってしまうような雪も
日に日に小さくなり、
春を意識し始めるこの頃。
今年が豪雪だったこともあり、
最近めっきり活躍の場を失った
スコップに目がいった。
かつてはその周りに雪が飛び、
一日中、石畳を湿らせていた。
薄く塗った“ロウ”がとれ
鈍く光る彼らに、
“仕事人”の影を見た。

Spring comes day by day recently.
