“あるがまま”と“想い”と“強さ”と。
それは忘れもしない5月。僕は5月病よりもタチの悪い“継ぐために縛られた”と帰省後勝手に腐っていたころ、ココラボのお二人に出合うこととなる。あてもなく秋田市をふらふらとしていたあの日、不意に入った建物で、当時、傍若無人な僕は物腰の軽そうな彼女らに、これまでの思いの全てを打ち明けた。
「ここに居る人は少なからずそういった思いを経験してるから安心して。」
思いも寄らない返事に、後ずさりしてしまったことを覚えている。この経験から僕の何かが変わり始めた。些細でも何かがあれば相談をし、話を聞いてもらう。たったそれだけのことで、これまで救われた場面が多々あった。新商品の開発やパッケージに取り組むきっかけをつくってくれたのも、ここだった。家業を継いで三年。今やっと、ここでお二人のことを取り上げられる気がする。それは「何かの力になれるのなら。」という想いと、不安定だった自分自身を少しは認められるようになったからだ。
ココラボラトリーはギャラリーとしてアートを発信するだけではなく、みんなを繋げる、“核”のような存在であると思う。どれだけの人がここを利用し、考え、考えさせられ、今を再認識してきたのだろう。僕はお二人のヴィジョンは到底知り得ることはないが、秋田という同郷で感覚を共にさせていただければと常々考えている。
ここに来れば分かることがある。兎にも角にも、魅力的な人たちだ。

“The state as it is” and “Think” and “Strength”.
It is May not forgotten. It gave oneself up to despair after it had gone home to Akita because I had not wanted to do the family business. Then, it comes to come across the couple of coco laboratory. I was walking to there was not business either in Akita City. In the gallery that had entered unexpectedly, I told all of a current desire to them whom the age seemed to be near.
“Because the person who is here is experiencing such a desire in no small way, it is relieved. ”
I remember to be shy to the answer not unexpected. Something of me began to change from this experience. If there is something even if it is trifling, it consults, and the story is heard. It was here to have made the chance to work on development and the package of the new item. It takes over one’s family’s business and three years. I think the couple to be taken up here finally in now. It is because a desire “Something can be helped” and oneself who was unstable came to be admitted.
The art not only is sent as a gallery but also everyone ties, and I think cocolaboratory to be existence like “Core”. It is likely to be made it use here by how much person, think, and think, and to have been recognizing now again. I always think that I can do both senses in the same town though I do not learn couple’s vision at all. It is likely to understand if coming here. Anyhow, they are charmers.

Facade of building where old print shop and mark in office remain. The passage of time that the thing made at one evening in one morning cannot be done forms the vicinity.

ふらりと歩いていた僕は、どこか異質なこの入り口を遠目に、この建物に入ることを決めた。
I decided this different entrance somewhere and the long-sight was decided to enter this building.

白の空間に映える青。様々な青味があるがやはり“この青”でなければいけない。
Blue that shines in white space. It should be “This.. blue. ” though there are a variety of blue tastes still.

白く塗られた木製の引き戸を開けるとギャラリーが位置する。
When the wooden sliding door painted white is opened, the gallery is located.

ビルは川に面し、ギャラリーの窓からも、その趣を垣間見ることができる。
The building faces the river, and can catch a glimpse of the elegance from the window of the gallery.

スタッフ総出で改装したというこの建物。ラフさも含め、仕上がりが重要なのだ。
This building where staff was redecorated all together. Finish is important.

縦長の3Fからなるこのビルは、階段が作り出す空間と僕は認識している。
This building consists of portrait 3F. I am recognizing that the stairs feature as for this space.

誰でもこの案内を見たら、各フロアーを隈なく廻るだろう。
Each floor will be seen and everyone turn if everyone sees this guide.

この距離感がパーソナルでもオフィシャルでも“そうなんだろうな”と納得させられる。そこに心地よさを見出す人が多いのではないだろうか。
There might be a lot of people who find ease to this sense of distance.

この空間は、果たして作り手の演出が成されているのか、時間の経過が自然に成しているのか、恐らくその両方で成された世界。そこにはまどろむような壁や階段、集う人々がいる。僕もここの強力な磁場に引き寄せられ、取り憑かれた一人。でも、そこにはそれだけではなく、これからのことが散りばめられている。それを作り出すきっかけとなったお二人。誰でも受け入れてくれる寛容さと、ご自身の想いを成し遂げる強さ。いつお会いしても、その芯の強さには心を動かされる。
Has the creator’s production been done or has the time passage naturally really done this space?Here is the world done by the both. There are a wall, the stairs where it takes a nap, and people who gather there. One person from whom I also think this place to be special. However, it will be sprinkled there in not only that but also the future. Couple who became chance to produce it. There is a generosity to accept everyone of them. Moreover, they also have strength that accomplishes the desire. The mind is moved to me by strength of the wick whenever it meets.

雪解けの窓辺。
2月も終わりに近づき、冬本番の日も少なくなった。
部屋の窓ガラスに付いていた雪が、いつの間にか水滴になっていた。
そう、僕たち雪国の人間は突然の雪に翻弄され、
それにも幾分か慣れた頃、雪解けを迎える。
じわりじわりと冬が過ぎ、僕の窓辺も雪解けとなる。

Drop of water
Near the window of thaw.
February ends, too it approaches, and the ice day has decreased, too.
The snow that had placed to the pane of the room was a drop of water before one is aware.
Man we in snowy countries is played at by a sudden snow.
The spring of thaw comes when somewhat becoming accustomed to it.
Winter passes slowly, and my near the window thaws the snow, too.

何かと天気に左右されてしまう冬のお祭りですが、「きちんと寒い。」というお客様にも開催者にも満足のいく“犬っこまつり日和”でした。たくさんの方々にお越しいただいたき、忙しくも楽しく過ごすことができました。非常に遣り甲斐のあった2日間で、会社にとっても自分自身にとっても成長させていただいたと、しみじみ実感しております。
地元湯沢でのイヴェントの重要性を改めて考えました。以下、お祭りの様子をご紹介します。
Sales with “INUKKO MATSURI 2010”is finished.
The weather influences the festival of winter. It was the weather that which was cold moderately, and suitable for the event of winter. A lot of people came at the ordinary year. We were able to spend it happily though we were busy. It was time that we had felt the giving effect very much. It is actually felt that it was going to grow up for oneself for the company.
I thought about the importance of the event in local Yuzawa again. I introduce the appearance as follows.

魔除けのモチーフに犬を用いることから始まるこの祭りでは、愛犬を引き連れたお客様もたくさんいらっしゃいます。
In this festival that starts from the use of the dog to the motif of the amulet, a lot of customers who took the dog also come.

雪像の犬はその歴史を物語るように力強く、また、生活のパートナーたる愛らしさもあります。
The dog of the snow figure is powerful as the history is told. Moreover, it also has pretty.

例年以上、たくさんのご試食をしていただき、スタッフも気合が入りました。
A lot of sampling more than the ordinary year was done. The staff also entered the yell.

2日間、ほとんど人が途切れることのない盛況振りでした。
It was the flourishing outline where the person might hardly become interrupted for two days.

小さなお客様にも暖をとってもらいました。
A small customer also took a rest.

初日の最期には、雪像と花火の饗宴をみることができます。
The feast of the snow figure and fireworks can be seen on the death of the first day.

2日目は厳かに“どんと焼き”が行われます。
“DONTOYAKI” is solemnly done on the second day.

イヴェント終了間際、近くの湯沢北高校バレー部の皆さんが来店してくださいました。世代の異なる僕は、半ば圧倒されながらも、彼女たちから若い力、輝きをもらいました。来年もまたここで待ってるから、よろしくね。
The people in the nearby Yuzawa north high school volleyball club came to the event near the end. The age is away from her and us. I got their young power and shine though it was overwhelmed by them. My best regards because of being wait here also next year.

We will sell with INUKKOMATURI 2010. We sell the limited product and the regular assortment of the season when concretely explaining. Moreover, a clean soup and various sampling are done.

静か、流るる。
真冬の岩崎橋から臨んだ皆瀬川。
雪化粧をしてモノトーンの世界。
今年の雪は極端で、一晩にあれよあれよと景色が変わる。
しかし、どれだけ雪が降ろうとも、川の流れは変えられない。
すべてを白で呑み込む事はできない。
下流の穏やかなところでも、変わらず流れる静かな強さ。
年々実感する、雪国の人々の我慢強さ。
雪国に住む時分、分かっているはずなのに、
この川に重ねずにはいられなかった。

Minase river of snow
It flows quietly.
I saw the Minase river from the Iwasaki bridge by below zero.
The snow was made up and it became the world of mono tones.
Scenery suddenly changes extremely into this year’s snow at night.
However much it snows, the flow of the river is not changed.
Everything cannot be swallowed in white.
The edge of the river that misses sideward doesn’t change and flow.
I felt quiet strength in this river.
