明日配布される秋田県南地域フリーペーパー『どあっぷ』9月号に“ゴヨウキキ茂助・カフェ*”の記事が掲載されます。若干緊張しましたが、丁寧に取材していただき、開店前にひと安心したのを覚えています。私は広告やメディアの類のものには詳しくありませんが、初めてのイヴェントが第三者の目で捉えられ、形として残ることは、主催者として大変嬉しく思います。雑誌を手に取る機会があれば、皆様に見ていただきたいと思います。
Information of publishing magazine
Tomorrow’s regional Akita Prefecture south free paper ‘Doappu’ The September edition will be distributed. The article on “Cafe” was published in it. Because they covered politely, I remember having been relieved. I am not well informed about the kind of one of the advertisement and media. I think catching of the first event by third party’s eyes, and the remainder as shape to be a very glad as an organizer. I would like everybody to see if there is a chance to take the magazine.

メールで来た記事の校正をしました。味噌醤油屋であることを弁えつつも、新たな試みで皆様とお会いできる日を楽しみにしております。
The proofreading of the article has gone up by mail. I am looking forward to continuing the miso soy sauce shop of the profession and meeting everybody.

いつまでも、残るもの。
祖母、キヨに会うため、隣の隣の町へと向かった。
彼女の右手薬指にはいつも奇麗な金色の指輪が輝いている。
キヨの最愛の人、道太郎が亡くなって、もう18年が経つ。
当時は婚約指輪も、結婚指輪もない時代という。
いつかの結婚生活の中で貰ったそれを、未だに彼女は外そうとしない。
そして、誇らしくその話をしては、顔を綻ばせる。
今では彼女の指も細くなった。
定位置の指輪がなくなった手は、どこか寂しげに見える。
それでも彼女の手は、凛としてその美しさを保つ。
いつかの約束の指輪は、各々の脳裏で、その輝きを増すのだろう。

Golden ring
The remaining one indefinitely.
To meet grandmother Kiyo, I faced the town next to the next.
A beautiful golden ring always shines to her right hand ring finger.
Kiyo’s husband Michitaro dies, and 18 years have already passed.
It is said at that time the age without the promise ring and the wedding ring either.
She doesn’t try to remove it gotten in the marriage life at one time yet.
And, she laughs at the story proud because she does.
Her finger became thin now.
The hand that the ring at a fixed position is lost looks lonely somewhere.
However, her hand is warm, and is beautiful without trouble as usual.

21世紀の職人。
井上さんの店舗に通うようになり、1年と半年が経つ。3MLの作品と内装がどんどん出来上がり、井上さんの世界観に厚みが増していく。その様子は、僕も同じく店を構える者として嫉妬してしまうほどだ。
木の特性や見せ方を熟知する井上さんの世界観は、素直にカッコいいと思える。無垢の木の作品と古物、他の作家さんの作品やブランドのセレクト、使い込んだ有名どころの作品、と、その扱いの幅は広い。それなのに、どのアイテムのこだわりも理解ができるし、そのいちいちがニクイ。新しいものは使い込む喜びがあるし、一方で古いものの哀愁を感じながら生活もしたい。今をときめく作家さんの作品も気になるし、王道の作品も使いたい。どの欲求にも答えられるから、どれが欠けても成立しない絶妙のバランス。成熟した消費者が求めるものは、この数奇なバランスだと思う。また、井上さんはいつお会いしても謙虚な方だ。一流のアパレルブランドの什器を手掛けながら、個人のお客様の要望も細かく聞いてくれる。
このバランス感覚と謙虚さを持ち合わせた在り方が、21世紀型の職人像ではないだろうか。しかしこのスタイルは、元々の素質や流儀をも内包するため、一長一短にできることではないだろう。こんなことを言うと「いいと思ったものを選んでるだけですよ。」と、いつものように答えてくれる井上さんは、職人として見習いたくなる先輩だ。
3ML WORKS _ Yoshikazu Inoue
Workman of the 21st century.
One year and half a year have passed since I became acquainted with Mr. Inoue. His work and the interior of the shop are completed fast, and his outlook on the world increases. I envy it because I see it.
with new tree of purity and old work. Other workmen’s works and selections of brand-name goods. Work of famous workman who embezzled. The commodity of his shop has many kinds. Moreover, I can understand, and feel the sense as for sticking to of any commodity. We want to use the new one. We want to live while feeling the old one. We are anxious also about modern craftsman’s work. We want to use a famous work. Even if any is lacked, it doesn’t approve because any desire is answered. It consists of the balance of exquisiteness. I think that what a mature consumer requests is this balance. Moreover, he is a person modest even if I meet when. He hears the individual guest’s demand in detail while handling the fixture and furniture of the apparel brand of the first class.
I wonder whether what should be where this sense of balance and modesty are had is a workman of the type in the 21st century. Because an original nature and the method are involved, it doesn’t make it to both merits and demerits. I say these kind of things to him. Then, he answers. , saying that “What thought to be good is only chosen”. He is like workman’s senior.

無垢の木工作品が中央のテーブルに並ぶ。古物のテーブルと新しい作品の対比が興味をそそる。
The work of the tree of purity queues up in the table at the center. The comparison between a table of the antique and a new work attracts the interest.

同じく無垢のスツールとベンチ。足のデザインや大きさなど様々なオーダーをすることができる。
Stool and bench of tree of purity. Various orders like the design and the size etc. of the foot can be done.

BURTON*の正規取り扱いは秋田県ではここだけ。カタログで取り寄せもできる。山をこよなく愛する井上さんだからこそ取り扱えるブランド。
Only here : regular handling of BURTON in Akita Prefecture. It obtains it with the catalog. Brand that can be handled because of Mr. Inoue who lives together naturally.

井上さんが選んだ古物の販売も行う。ショウケースも頑丈で立派な古物で、圧倒的存在感。
The antique that Mr. Inoue chose is sold. It is an antique that the showcase is strong and splendid, and there is an overwhelming sense of existence.

カメラ/POLAROID SX-70の細部を木に張り替える、キメ細かいサーヴィスも行っている。
The detail of camera/POLAROID SX-70 is repapered to the tree, and fine service is done.

キャンドルなど井上さんの共感する作家さんのプロダクトも取り扱いがある。
The product of the workman with whom Mr. Inoue such as candles sympathizes also has handling.

使い込んだ剣持勇のスタッキングスツール。有名作品も、気にせず使い込むから面白いのだ。
There is Isamu Kenmochi’s Stacking Stool. It is interesting because a famous work doesn’t worry and be embezzled.

Gallery1950*のウッドカップも製作している。そのパッケージまで井上さんの手づくりで、焼印も入れている。
The wood cup in Gallery1950 is produced. Even the package is handmade, and the brand is put.

visvim*のスケートデッキ。ホワイト/ブラック/ブラウン、各種マット/光沢と井上さんの仕事の幅は本当に広い。
Skating deck of visvim. The mat and luster are finished up white/black/Brown. There is variously Mr. Inoue’s work.

3MLのロゴはvisvimの中村さんからデザインをしていただいたそうだ。
I hear that the logo of 3ML was designed from Mr. Nakamura of visvim.

「木工のカタチは既にやり尽くされていると思います。今ではなるべく、他のデザインは見ないようにしています。」僕にとっては衝撃的な発言だった。しかし、内部に向き合い続けるからこそ、紡ぎ出されるバランス感覚。そこから生まれた作品を、この場所で見ることができるのは、嬉しい限りだった。
It was an impact for “Think the shape of woodwork to have already started in life” servant remark. However, the sense of balance that arises because he keeps being opposite internally. I was glad to see the work that had arisen there from first to last.

お盆前の忙しさで、思わず自分の生活まで急ぎすぎてしまいます。無造作に置かれた供え物に目をやると、不思議と平静さを取り戻せました。
A hot as usual day continues. I took a rest while seeing the offering thing. Though it is busy before the vacation.

雪国・秋田の七夕絵どうろうまつりも、他の地域と変わらず記録的な猛暑となりました。外に出るのが億劫になるような暑さの中、多数の方々にご来店していただき、本当に嬉しく思っております。地元で初めて企画したイヴェントですので、どのような反応がいただけるのか、直前までわくわくして臨ませていただきました。蓋を開けてみると、私の予想以上に様々な世代の方にご利用していただけました。このような思いをすることができたのは、やはりこの建物の持つ普遍的な魅力の仕業なのでしょう。
相応しい機会が再びあるのであれば、私のどうしようもなく重たい腰でも、また上げてみようかと思っております。皆様のご来店、ありがとうございました。
The branch shop of “Goyoukiki Mosuke Caffe” is finished.
In the intense heat that exceeds 35 degrees and a lot of people come to a store every day, and I think that I am really glad. It was an event that I had planned for the first time in local of me. It was exciting though it did not know what reaction you were able to get. It is thought that various generations were able to use it more than my expectation. It is because a universal charm is still in this building.
Moreover, it is thought that it wants to provide service that everybody can be satisfied if there is a chance. Thank you for coming to a store.

セットメニューのご注文を多くいただきました。ひとつひとつが力のある商品ですが、参加していただいた方々の商品を併せて堪能できる、よい機会であったと思います。
The order for the set menu was increased. Each one is a powerful commodity. I think that this cafe was a chance that the commodity of a unique store can be used together.

来店したお客様には連日の猛暑の中でも足を運んでいただき、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいになりました。会場の酒造会館は、最初から最後まで、暑い熱いカフェとなりました。
A lot of customers came to a store though it was hot every day. The brewing hall in the hall became a hot cafe from first to last.

様々な世代のお客様がいらっしゃいましたが、中でも同年代の方が多く、気さくに話しかけていただきました。同い年特有の共感できるところが多く、この感覚は不思議で興味深いものでした。
Various generations’ customer came. It talked to many especially, and more candid same age group. I thought that the same age, peculiar sense had much in common. It was still mysterious and interesting.

このとき、この場所に合った音楽をかけられるように心掛けておりました。ノスタルジックでありながら新鮮さを失わない、そのような空間には音楽の力が必要不可欠だと考えています。
It was possible to listen to the music that was suitable for this place at this time. I wanted to make it to the sense that did not lose freshness though it was nostalgic. It is thought that the power of music is also necessary for it.

世代を超えて感覚的に触れ合うことができるのは、こういった非日常の空間での出来事ということが大きな要因のひとつでしょう。特に下の世代の感覚には、ささやかでも何かが残って欲しいと思います。
It was possible to touch in the sense exceeding the generation. The event in the space in such non-daily life might be the reason. Especially, even if it is small, something wants you to remain in nether generation’s sense.

左から紅玉の高橋さん、3MLの井上さん、casane･tsumugu -かさね・つむぐ-の田宮さん*。新しい繋がり、交流、はじまりの場となれたことも、大きな大きな収穫でした。
It introduces the people in the photograph. Mr. Takahashi of Kougyoku. Mr. Inoue of 3ML. Mr. Tamiya of casane･tsumugu. This cafe became the place of a new connection and the exchange and the start.

酒造会館を見るためにお越しいただいた方も多く見受けられました。受け売りではありますが、建物の細部の説明をしながらの接客というのは、私にとって貴重な経験となりました。
Coming to see the brewing hall also came a lot. Serving of the explanation of the detail in the building became a precious lesson for me.

出店者の方々にスタッフになっていただきました。自らモノを生み出しており自身の商品の説明ができる、という私の理想とするメンバーでした。本当に楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。皆様、ありがとうございました。
Tenants became staff and it worked. They are the people who are inventing the commodity. Therefore, they can explain own commodity. They were members of my ideal. I was going to spend really happy time. Thank you for everybody.

またこのサインを掲げられる日を、私自身も楽しみにしております。
