ヤマモでは珍しく、女子高校生5人が訪ねてきた。あどけない表情の彼女たちは、湯沢商工の商業研究班だという。しばらく彼女たちの話を聞いていくうちに、いつの間にかその真っ直ぐな想いやヴァイタリティーに引き込まれていった。
彼女たちは環境に配慮した地熱事業に着目し、地元湯沢の活性化を促そうとしてる。湯沢市の地熱事業は全国的に見ても誇れるほどの実績を上げている。しかし皮肉なことに、それに知名度が伴っているわけではない。彼女たちは手探りで調査を繰り返し、行政や教育機関、一般企業の協力を取り付け、地熱事業を軸に湯沢の街をPRしていこうと考えている。この真っ直ぐな想いと鋭い着眼点から始まった活動は、瞬く間に県の壁を越え、東北六県生徒商業研究発表大会で優勝することとなる。11月には神奈川で全国大会が控えているそうだ。
彼女たちは今後の活動の一環として商品開発も行い、さらに地熱事業や街の関心を広めようとしている。ヤマモにもPR商品を担う一部分として協力をして欲しいとのことであった。彼女たちの活動に参加できることは本当に喜ばしいことであり、こういった若い力が地元から活躍の場を広げていくことは素晴らしいことだ。同じ街に住む仲間として、これまでのように彼女たちらしく、明るく楽しく進めてもらいたいと思う。

About the activity of Akita prefectural Yuzawa commerce and industry high school commercial research group
Five high school girls have visited my company. It is said that they are commercial research groups of the Yuzawa commerce and industry. I was impressed by the passionate desire while hearing their stories.
They try to pay attention to the terrestrial heat business that considers the environment, and to press the activation of Yuzawa. The terrestrial heat business of Yuzawa City raises results as possible to be boasted even in Japan. However, it is not known sarcastically to people. They repeated the independent inquiry and they obtained the cooperation of the administration, an educational institution, and a general enterprise. They think that they will activate the town in Yuzawa centering on the terrestrial heat business. This activity started from a passionate desire and the point aimed at. They finally win the championship in the commerce of the student of Tohoku 6 prefecture research announcement rally. I hear that the national athletic meeting is held in Kanagawa in November.
They will try to do the product development, and to make the concern of the terrestrial heat business and the town known more in the future. I hear that it also wanted our company to cooperate in the development of the commodity. Being possible to participate in their activities is really joyous. It is wonderful that young person’s power expands the place of activity from local. This activity wants you to develop happily as a companion who lives in the same town.

あたりが暗くなってからの訪問であった。みんな明るく、和気藹々とした雰囲気で話が進む。
They visited after it had darkened around. They were a happy, harmonious atmosphere.

味噌と醤油、それぞれ二種類を試食してもらった。彼女たちの頭の中には、出来上がりのイメージが膨らんでいることだろう。
The miso and the soy sauce were sampled. The image of the completion is in their head.

それぞれの名刺と活動の記録をいただいた。名刺には顔写真があり、個人で色分けがなされていた。また、活動の記録も面白く分かり易いものであった。
I got the record of each business card and the activity. There was a photograph of face in the business card, and it was classified privately. The record of the activity was interesting and moreover, comprehensible.

彼女たちは“地域ブランディング”を掲げており、私も会社の活動やものづくりの背景をお客様にお伝えする者。第三者に魅力を伝えていくという遣り甲斐のある仕事。彼女たちと同じように、真っ直ぐに物事を見つめていきたいと思う。
They are hanging out “Regional branding”. I also am telling the customer the activity of the company and the background of the one-making. This is work with the giving effect of telling someone the charm. I want to watch things as straight as them.

私の身近な職人、3ML WORKS*、atelier七緒*、両人の展示会のお知らせです。つくりだすものの在り方やシンプルなスタンスが似ている二人が揃うと、どのような景色が見えてくるのでしょうか。
木工と陶器、お二人それぞれのものづくりをいつも間近で見させていただいています。私も微力ながら力になれればと、今回の案内の写真を撮らせていただきました。いよいよの運びとなった、非常に楽しみな展示会です。もちろん、私も顔を出します。

3ML WORKS and atelier nanao are my familiar existence. It informs them of the exhibition of two people. The produced one becomes complete and two people that it is simple and looks like the stance have become complete. Then, what kind of scenery comes into view?
I will see woodwork, earthenware, and the one-making each couple always closely. I thought that I was able also to help. And, I was going to take the photograph of this guide. It is a very fruitive exhibition. Of course, I also go.

私は写真を撮りながら、お二人の距離感を考えていました。同じサイズ（スケール）の中での質感（材質）のコントラスト。ディテールの対比が分かるこの写真がそれを表しているように思えます。
I thought about couple’s sense of distance while taking the photograph. Two people have the contrast of feeling of quality in the same scale. The comparison of the detail is understood in this photograph though the entire shape is not understood. This is my favorite photograph.

イオンスーパーセンター湯沢店の一角には、生産者が自由に売り場をつくることができる、「虹こまち」という店舗があります。本来ならば出店者の私から提案しなければいけないところ、担当の鈴木さんからはいつも新しい提案をいただいています。
今回も提案をしていただき、期間限定で“食べる調味料”の新しいプレゼンテーションをしたいというお話でした。ヤマモでは肉味噌でやってみてはどうか、とのことでした。そのなかで鈴木さんが出した条件がひとつ。
「商品案内は懐かしさを感じられるものでお願いします。」
それは、お客様に売り場で他の商品とのバランスを取るためのもの、という彼の配慮からでした。僕の提案がどれだけ受け入れられるかは分かりませんが、こういった条件の元でする仕事は、実に遣り甲斐のあるものです。
明日、10日から販売が始まります。イオンスーパーセンター湯沢店「虹こまち」にお越しの際は、地元の希有な商品たちに目を向けて欲しいと思います。

Information of sales in specially-installed corner of Nijikomachi in aeon super-center Yuzawa

I always get the talk of sales from Mr. Suzuki of Nijikomachi of the producer subject located in the corner of the aeon supercenter Yuzawa. Because I am a producer, I should propose selling. He always makes a new proposal though he is a seller.
This request is one in that. It was a content that it wanted to do presentation with new seasoning at limited time. I hear that it wanted our company to propose the meat miso. Mr. Suzuki gave one condition.
“Product information is made the one that nostalgia is felt. “
The reason to other commodities and to have differentiated as for the commodity of Yamamo. How much my proposal is accepted is not understood. However, I feel happiness in work as for depending of me by such details.
When coming to Nijikomachi of the aeon supercenter Yuzawa, I want you to see an unusual commodity of local.

Shade of a tree of summer
In the shade of a tree
Day of the heat sweating.
I idly walk to the sun where sunlight is strong.

居ても立ってもいられなくなり、近くの木陰に駆け込む。
そこは思った以上にひんやりとしていて、
近くの木にもたれては、ふぅと一息。
I embarrassed due to the heat, and ran to the nearby shade of a tree.
It chilly made there more than thinking.
I took a rest dripping because of the nearby tree.

すっきりした頭で、辺りを見まわすと、
木陰の草花が、一面に青々と広がる。
何だか得したような気分になる。
I saw the vicinity by a refreshing head.
Then, the flowering plant has extended to the shade of a tree fresh and green all over.
I became feelings gained somehow.

この景色と涼しさに、どこか懐かしさを覚える。
そうだ、これが僕の夏の原体験なんだ、と気付かされた。
When I see the scenery of the sunshine filtering through foliage, I think nostalgia.
It was made to notice that this was my original experience in summer.

明日配布される秋田県南地域フリーペーパー『どあっぷ』9月号に“ゴヨウキキ茂助・カフェ*”の記事が掲載されます。若干緊張しましたが、丁寧に取材していただき、開店前にひと安心したのを覚えています。私は広告やメディアの類のものには詳しくありませんが、初めてのイヴェントが第三者の目で捉えられ、形として残ることは、主催者として大変嬉しく思います。雑誌を手に取る機会があれば、皆様に見ていただきたいと思います。
Information of publishing magazine
Tomorrow’s regional Akita Prefecture south free paper ‘Doappu’ The September edition will be distributed. The article on “Cafe” was published in it. Because they covered politely, I remember having been relieved. I am not well informed about the kind of one of the advertisement and media. I think catching of the first event by third party’s eyes, and the remainder as shape to be a very glad as an organizer. I would like everybody to see if there is a chance to take the magazine.

メールで来た記事の校正をしました。味噌醤油屋であることを弁えつつも、新たな試みで皆様とお会いできる日を楽しみにしております。
The proofreading of the article has gone up by mail. I am looking forward to continuing the miso soy sauce shop of the profession and meeting everybody.
