梅雨の晴れ間に、名も無き蝶が訪れた。

彼女は僕の前を悠々と通り過ぎ、

近くの葉に停まり、暫く休んでいる。

「その橙色は生きるためのもの？魅せるためのもの？」

羽の鮮やかな橙色を想っているうちに、

彼女はふらふらと飛び立ち、視界の外に消えていった。

僕と彼女の感覚は異なっていたのかもしれない。

それでも葉に停まった暫くの間は、共有できていたのだろう。

きっとそれは、互いに儚く、数奇な時。

一期一会で、喜ばしいものだったのではないか。

Butterfly

Before summer.

A certain butterfly visited the patch of blue sky of the rainy season.
She passes calmly in front of me, stops in the nearby leaf, and is taking a rest for a while.

“Is the orange color used to live?”
“Or, is it the one in someone for the charm?”
She flew away unintentionally, and disappeared when I thought about a vivid orange color of the wing.

Her and my sense might have been different.
Still, we might have been able to share it in the interim that stopped in the leaf.
Transient time it, and the chance are rare.
It was the joyous one of enjoying that time.

Strange time peculiar beyond can be done before the season when a lot of presentiments are.
It is time when the smell of after the rain is smelt, and gets remodeled.

 

まるまる三日かけて出来上がらせた麹を解していく。

丁寧に手作業で行うため、人海戦術になる。

出麹のころには、麹の善し悪しは分かっている。

米の浸漬時間や蒸し具合、麹菌の温度管理に至るまで。

様々な要素の重なり合いの末、行き着いた答え合せになる。

若紫の勉強会を元に行った新たな取り組みも、

どうやら功を奏したようだ。

麹の香りは、ふわりと漂いながら工場を通り抜け、

来客用玄関の入り口まで届いていた。

生き物を育てることは、何と難しいことであろうか。

仕込前にはキリキリと胸が痛み、

出麹で一段落し、はぁーっと息をつく。

そして僕は今年の仕込終わりで、めずらしく、風邪をひいた。

Answer suiting of work and rest.

The malt completed spending the third is untied.
To do this work politely by the hand work, it becomes human-wave tactics.

I understand the quality of malt at this work.
Steeping time, steaming condition of rice, and temperature management of Aspergillus oryzae.

The smell of malt passed factory, came off, and had reached the entrance of the door for the visitor.

I feel nervous before work of training.
I am relieved because it takes a rest by the work of Dekouji.
And, I ended about this year’s training work, and caught a cold unusually.

高橋嘉彦、彼は“ヤマモ味噌醤油醸造元 / 高茂合名会社”の社長であり、僕の父である。いつからか父親と呼ぶことは無くなり、終日「社長」と呼んでいる。

本当の彼は言葉数が多くはない。いやいや、近所の人や、たわいもない会話に於いては、無尽蔵に話していると思う。それこそ、その言葉が何処から出たのか解らないほど流暢に。しかし、やはり違うのだ。社長たるもの、やはり腹に何かを据えている。未熟な僕には伺い知ることができないほどに。だからこそ、初見では八方美人に映る彼は、実は、場を繕い相手方のことしか言葉にしていないのだと気付く。そして腹に据えたことは、察するものだと教えられる。そう、「察する」という概念は、ここに帰ってきてから“社長”に教えられたものだ。そしてそれは、かけがえの無いものだと信じている。

僕はいつからか社長を尊敬している。それは大切な人の大切な場での立ち居振る舞いや所作に、今更に驚くことがあり、何より“優しい人”として、とてつもなく大きいと思うからだ。社長として過ごしてきた時間は平坦ではない。幼い頃から、そのことは薄々感じてきた。しかし、彼が弱音を吐いたところを一度たりとも見たことが無い。そして、これからも見ることはないだろう。家族という眼鏡を外してみても、彼には度量や器の大きさを感じる。彼は打たれ強く、何が何でも皆を護ってくれるのだ。

家族であることの気恥ずかしさ、それは善くも悪くも付き纏うのだが、家族と仕事をすることは、尚更一筋縄ではいかないもの。だからこそ、敢えてこの機会に「彼の喜ぶ顔が見たくて仕事をしている」、なんて今までの文脈からしたら「察しろ」なんて言いたいところだが、穿った勇気を振り絞って、毅然とした態度で言っておく。僕は「社長と一緒に仕事ができて、シアワセだ！」、と。

Yoshihiko Takahashi_Representative Director

Determined soldier.

He is a Representative Director of “Yamamo miso soy sauce brewing former / TAKAMO & Corp.”, and he is my father. After it takes over one’s family’s business, I am calling him not father but a president.
He true doesn’t have a lot of numbers of words. I think that he is speaking unlimitedly in neighbors and the daily conversations. Only it is fluent not to understand where the word to was derived. However, it is still different. The president has still installed something in the belly. So that it visits for me immature and it is not possible to know. He seems by diplomatic person in seeing for the first time. Actually, we notice that he is making remarks on the other party sympathizing. And, it is taught that having placed in the belly is what it guesses. The concept “Guess” is the one taught to “President” after it comes back here so. And, I believe that it is very important.
I respect the president. It is because the geniality is felt in the deportment and conduct in an important place of an important person. I think the above all extraordinary and largeness as “Gentle person”. The time that he has spent as a president is not smooth. I have vaguely felt that in the childhood. However, I have not thought his whine to be worth once. And, it will not see in the future. Even if glasses of family are removed, I feel the size of mensural and the container in him. He is stricken and defends everyone by all means strongly.
Ashamed of the family it is shadowed also even of where. It is more difficult to work with the family. I dare to say, “I am working to see the face with which he is pleased” at this chance. “Guess” will be said by someone if it does from the current context. However, I strain courage and say. “I want to work with the president. “

社長の書斎は、いつも書類だらけ。それにげんなりする自分にも慣れたが、今となっては社長らしい雰囲気だと思える。そしてこの空気感は誰かにつくれるものではない。ここが社長そのもの、今はそう思い、どこかに“格好良さ”さえ感じている。絶対に意図していないであろうセロハンテープの朱色の台座や広告の裏紙を切ってつくったメモ紙の束、茶葉の缶を利用したペンケース、色褪せた座布団と座椅子。彼は淡いベージュ色の襖を背にし、ランニング姿に老眼鏡を掛け直し、毎日ここで売り上げを数えている。男の書斎とは、そういうものなのかもしれない。

Representative Director’s study is only the usual document. I think that atmosphere who seems to be the president now though it became accustomed to it fed up with it. 初夏の頃、“鰯（いわし）に似た魚”が捕れる時期に咲くことから、

この花は「いわしばな」という方言の名が付けられたと云う。

外では庭師が忙しなく、豪雪で折れた枝や幹を補修している。

紐で固定したり、縄を巻いていたり、ボルトを通していたり。

木々の手術のような作業は、とうとう期限までに終わりきれなかった。

世の中には覆すことのできない不条理がある。

でも逞しく生き、受け入れ、それを続けていけば、

何かが起きるかもしれない。変われるのかもしれない。

いや、それも定かではないが、それしか道はない。
