濃い霧の夜に。
氷点下の帰り道、その寒さからか、辺りは霧に覆われた。
いつもの橋を渡ろうとすると、灯りが霧越しに川を照らしていた。
その見慣れない景色に、しばらく目を奪われた。
もう数日で年が終わることに気付き、今年の出来事を思い返す。
様々な方に出会い、刺激をもらった一年だった。
取り巻く環境がどんどん変化していくのを実感する日々だった。
今年たくさんの方からいただいた刺激と変化を
これからの自分たちに反映させていかなければ、
と、そんなことを考えていた。

“あの冬”。
ここ数日は冬の匂いが漂い、いよいよの雪となった。
日が暮れるのも早く、これまで目にした景色の色も少ない。
この感覚は、急にどこか不自由になったと錯覚するほどだ。
しかし、不自由だからこそ、分かることもある。
夜道で窓から漏れる灯りの尊さや、寒さで家が待ち遠しくなる気持ち。
また、“あの冬”がやってきたんだな、と。

雨に色付く。
一足先に紅葉を見ようと、山に出かけた。
あいにくの雨で随分と寒い思いをした。
この寒さや雨が木々を色付かせることを思うと、
濡れて反射する色々も新鮮だった。

しっとりと網膜に訴える。
