音もなく、静かに。
先日、秋田に初雪が降った。
思わぬうちに大雪となり、
一夜にして色付いた木々が裸になる。
莫大な大きさで白色が飲み込み、
秋の色々を奪う様に、
雪国の現実を思い知る。
音もなく、静かに、冬はやってくる。

Coming in winter
Soundlessly, quietness.
The first snow of the season fell in Akita the other day.
It becomes a heavy snow among unexpected, and trees that colored in one night become naked.
Near scenery becomes white of the snow from various colors of　autumn.
This spectacle is seen and I learn the reality of the snowy country.
It comes quietly soundlessly in winter.

冬の足音。
朝露の結晶が早朝の景色を、より引き立たせる。
冬を目前に、小さな白い花が咲いているようだ。
霜が降りた朝は寒さで澄んだ空気も、霧がかる朝日も、
何気ないそのひと時が、幻想的にまどろむ。
張り詰めた空気と共に、冬の足音が聞こえる。

Frost
Sign of winter.
The crystal of the morning dew sets off the scenery of early morning more.
A small, white flower seems to be in　blossom in the garden.
It becomes fantastic in the morning that frost got off.
It is because air is clear due to the　cold, and the morning sun is fogged.
When frost gets off, we feel the sign of　winter.

金色の雨。
頭上にひらりひらりと銀杏が舞い落ちる。
あたり一面が輝く黄色に埋め尽くされる。
まるで金色の雨の中を歩くようだった。

Maidenhair tree
Golden rain.
The maidenhair tree flutters down quickly quickly in overhead.
It is buried under yellow to which it shines one around completely.
It seemed to walk in golden rain.

最期のとき。
ものの終わりに、ひときわの美しさを感じる。
沈む夕日が赤く染まり、散りゆく葉も赤く染まる。
どうやらこの美しさの感覚は、日本人が特に強いらしい。
かつての武士が自身の最期に、
時世の句を詠んだのも、今では分かる気がする。
自分の最期をそう臨むのも、他者の最期を汲み取ることも、
一生懸命にできる人でありたい。

Fallen leaf
On the death.
When something is lost, I feel peculiar beauty.
The evening sun colors in red, and the fallen leaf reddens, too.
Apparently, the sense of this beauty seems to be a Japanese feature.
The samurai before wrote the phrase of the age on own death.
I think that the sense understands now.
It wants to be a person who can do facing my death so, and taking others’ deaths into consideration hard.

音の記憶。
秋の風物詩、ウマオイの声がする。
音の記憶というのは、中々すごいもので、
風鈴と同様に、次第に涼しく感じてくる。
音で温度を感じること。
それは、まさしく“日本の心”なのだろう。
絶対に忘れたくない感覚のひとつだ。

Umaoi
Memory of sound.
I feel autumn when the voice of Umaoi is.
The memory of the sound is wonderful.
I feel the voice of Umaoi as well as the wind bell it is cool.
I must feel the temperature because of the sound.
It might be “Mind of Japan”.
It is one of the senses that do not want never to forget.
