湯沢市と東成瀬村が主体となり、この２地域の海外向けプロモーションとして「大切なもの見つけにおいで」というタイトルで春夏秋冬のショートムーヴィーの動画制作を行いました。ヤマモは冬偏のロケーションの一つとしてご使用いただきました。現在は夏偏と秋偏がWEBで公開されています。

これまでのプロモーションと異なり、舞台俳優の方々が演技をする現場は特殊なもので、撮影開始の合図の後の表情やスタッフの緊張感、全体の空気にプロ意識を感じることができました。撮影後も演者やスタッフの皆さんでヤマモの製品のご試食やカフェ利用、写真撮影など行っていただき、今回のご縁から次の展開が生まれていくような気がしました。作品の完成が楽しみです。大和監督や演者の大平さん、緒方さん、撮影スタッフの方々、ありがとうざいました。

I came to Cordelia Polinna, a city developer in Berlin. We joined with her at the launch of the event in Berlin, I was interested in a project pursuing the sustainability of society following the legacy from the Iwasaki area, this time participation has been realized.

湯沢地域を土地の文脈や文化に基づくコンセプト、“Fermentation City”という形で打ち出し、地域住民を巻き込み、またその効果を世界まで波及させようという９日間の取り組みが終わりました。クラウドファンディングでの資金調達を達成し、地域の様々な方の協力を取り付け、開催に漕ぎ着くことができました。一つのイヴェントに向けて地域が一体となっていく。そこには地域愛と熱が同居する優しい感覚がありました。以下に当日の様子をご紹介したいと思います。

　

Finish Fermentators Week

We have finished our 9 day effort to devise the Yuzawa area as a concept based on the context and culture of the land, “Fermentation City”, to involve local residents and to spread the effect to the world. We achieved fund procurement at cloud funding, we could cooperate with various people in the area and we were able to start holding. Regions are united toward one event. There was a gentle feeling that community love and fever live together. Below I would like to introduce the situation of the day.

The beginning of the event was invited by Berlin urban developer Cordelia Polinna and each player discussed the region and its future from various perspectives in order to foster the direction of development “Yuzawa’s development direction” master plan. From the high school student to the 70’s, the position was composed of people from various positions with activists, administrative staff, financial institutions, architects, chefs. They were visualized one after the other and information accumulated on the huge map on the floor.

After the master plan conference was over, we had a program of such foods that unearthed the theme from ingredients sleeping in each area of Yuzawa on weekdays and enjoyed the region while talking with the chefs, for five days. We can comprehensive experience while fusing with fermented food as well as camping and indigo dyeing on land and learned the possibilities of region and new ways to enjoy together with key words of fermentation.

イヴェント後半は岩崎蔵を会場とし、V.I.Pや関係者を招待したオープニングイヴェントを行いました。その後は、海外からゲストミュージシャンとDjをお招きし、朝までミュージックナイトを開催しました。「朝まで行う」ということがこの企画の肝であり、それは新しいカルチャーを生み出すため、完全にやりきる必要があるものでした。予想以上の盛り上がりがあり、酒蔵に一夜限りの幻想的なクラブが出現しました。

　

In the latter half of the event, Iwasaki Kura was the venue, and an opening event was held inviting V.I.P and related people. After that, we invited guest musicians and Dj from abroad and held a music night until the morning. “To do until the morning” is the liver of this project, which was the one that needed to complete completely in order to create a new culture. There was more excitement than expected, and a fantastic club appeared only one night in sake brewery.

今回の取り組みは地域にとっての一つの成功体験であったと思います。皆さんで感じたこの経験から地域愛が育まれ、地域の一人一人が主体者となり、社会課題の解決に向かうのだと思います。土地に根付く文脈を掘り起こし、新たな文化形成として臆せず取り組みを進める。地域を包み込むこの取り組みが、今後も続いていくことを願っております。

After finishing the event and listening to various voices there was something interesting. That is what changed concern that the worry of sound leakage of Music Night which was the biggest concern remembered “I remembered the lively era when the bouquet was running”. I think that this effort was one success experience for the region. From this experience you felt that regional love was nurtured, each person in the area will be the subject, I think that we will head towards the solution of social issues. We unearth the context rooted in the land and promote efforts without concern as a new culture formation. I hope that this effort to enclose the region will continue in the future.

YAMAMO GARDEN OPENING PROJECT_Entrance and Wind Laboratory

Returning from Berlin, we began to renovate the front door the following day. Firstly from the destruction of existing concrete. Under the concrete there is a former cobblestone, there is a trace which was rebuilt at the time of the fifth generation. What will the current owner leave as a legacy towards the future while drawing on the intention of renovating his ancestors? The way of thinking and sense is questioned. However, it is a renovation of the entrance waiting for many years. I feel naturally entered.
