融雪の観点から、冬季の積雪が池に落ちるよう、新たな池の中央に軒を出します。これにより庭園入口の開口上部は軒で覆われ、庭の景観は横に長いパノラマになります。この軒の部材にも、かつて高橋家に使われていた古材を用います。７メートル級の古材の大梁を１２センチ角の古材の柱で両端を支えます。それに冬季の雪支えとして中央に９ｃｍ角の柱を新しい部材で取り付けることにしました。

“YAMAMO SUSTAINABLE FIELD”是我們公司的可持續味噌醬油釀造業。今年春耕還有第四代的領域，這是恢復在30年來第一次的。從春到夏，將徹底土壤上覆蓋著綠色的田野，挖掘重型設備。現場將繼續更改為柔和的棕色。我記得現場的最後一年的復活日，有人再次審議土地岩崎的恩典。觸摸土地的土壤，成長生活，吃，住吧。我們Yamamo是我要珍惜“生活 / Life”的根源。

皆瀬川の伏流水であるヤマモの仕込水を提供する自然竹の“筧（かけい）”を庭園入口に設け、“蹲（つくばい）”に水を落としていきます。仕込水が“蹲”に注ぎ入れる音は庭園に風情を与え、岩崎地域で最も川に近いヤマモの町内である栄町の豊かさを感じることができます。この水の豊かさから、創業者・茂助は土地の産業を見出し、四代目・彦四郎はその想いを水神の庭に込めました。

YAMAMO GARDEN OPENING PROJECTは、新たな水の流れとそれに付随したルートを作成し、新旧和洋を織り交ぜたハイブリッドな庭園を目指しています。ヤマモの庭園は本来、近親者以外踏み入れない私的な庭として四代目が作庭したものでした。時代背景を映した歴史的なルートはそのままに、現代に広く皆様に開放するルートを私たち六・七代目の時代に設計し、混ぜ合わせたものがこの度の庭園となります。時代は違えど、作庭の根幹にあるものが水の恵みであり、歴代続く私たちは、土地に合った恵みを大切に用い、製品として表現をしていきたいと考えております。創業者・高橋茂助から続く高橋家の物語を現代まで引き継ぎ、これからも継承していきます。私から公、過去から未来へと向かう庭園の取り組みは、まだまだ続いていきます。
