シアトルのリーダーシッププログラムに参加したときから、持続可能な社会実現のため、社会変革（Social Change）について学び、考え続けてきました。そのための一つの方法として、起業家が新しい社会サーヴィスを地域に実装することや、そのような人材を育成することが第一歩と考えられます。しかし、リソースが乏しいローカルではそのような人材の確保や育成が簡単ではありません。弊社では起業家精神を持つ人材を新しい部署「社会変革事業部（YAMAMO SOCIAL CHANGE DIVISION）」として育成し、社会をより良く変えていくことができるサーヴィスを実現したいと考えております。

まずは若手蔵人として醸造産業に従事していきながら、外部との交流を持つ意味でカフェ部門も担当し、自身の事業をブラッシュアップさせながら地域と向き合い、より良い社会の実現に向かっていくことができればと思います。このように既存産業が業種の異なるベンチャー企業を包含していくことは、既存産業にとっては事業承継や人材不足を補う利点があり、ベンチャー側からは既にある会社のリソースを活用できるうまみがあり、これは新しい企業存続の在り方であるとも考えます。

新入社員の澤口駿亮がヤマモの中で起業家として岩崎地域や社会課題と向き合い、成長していくことを期待し、皆様に見守っていただけると幸いです。社会変革事業部が地域や社会に貢献できることを願っております。

Syunsuke Sawaguchi_YAMAMO SOCIAL CHANGE DIVISION

Since joining the Seattle leadership program, I have been learning and thinking about social change in order to realize a sustainable society. One way to do this is for entrepreneurs to implement new social services in the region and to develop such human resources. However, it is not easy to secure and develop such human resources in local areas where resources are scarce. We are nurturing human resources with an entrepreneurial spirit as a new department, “YAMAMO SOCIAL CHANGE DIVISION”, and want to realize services that can change society better.

First of all, while engaging in the brewing industry as a young brewer, we are also in charge of the cafe department in the sense of having exchanges with the outside, facing the area while brushing up our own business, and moving towards the realization of a better society I hope you can. The inclusion of venture companies with different industries in this way has the advantage of existing businesses that make up for business succession and shortage of human resources, and the venture has the advantage of utilizing existing company resources. I think this is a new way to survive.

I hope that you can watch over the new employee, Keisuke Sawaguchi, as an entrepreneur, facing the Iwasaki area and social issues and growing. I hope that the Social Transformation Division can contribute to the community and society.

澤口駿亮_社會變革課（YAMAMO SOCIAL CHANGE DIVISION）

自從加入西雅圖領導力課程以來，我一直在學習和思考社會變革，以實現可持續發展的社會。實現這一目標的一種方法是讓企業家在該地區實施新的社會服務並開發此類人力資源。但是，在資源稀缺的地區確保和開發此類人力資源並不容易。作為一個新的部門，“YAMAMO社會變革部門（YAMAMO SOCIAL CHANGE DIVISION）”，我們正在培養人力資源，並希望實現能夠更好地改變社會的服務。

首先，在作為年輕釀酒商從事釀造業的同時，我們還負責與外部交流意義上的咖啡廳部門，面對該地區，同時磨礪自己的事業，並朝著實現更美好的社會邁進我希望你能。以這種方式包含具有不同行業的風險公司具有彌補業務繼承和人力資源短缺的現有業務的優勢，並且該風險具有利用現有公司資源的優勢。我認為這是一種新的生存方式。

我希望你能看到新員工澤口駿亮，作為企業家，面對岩崎地區和社會問題並不斷發展。我希望社會轉型司能夠為社區和社會做出貢獻。

澤口駿亮からのメッセージ

私の行動と心の源泉は、母校の閉校と港から見える太平洋にあります。自身を最後の卒業生として小学校が無くなったとき、町が消滅していく未来を肌で感じました。地元が消滅していく危機感と土地の恩恵を受け育まれた愛着は折り重なり、いつしか地元の未来を担うのは自分だと、使命感を抱くようなりました。

その感情とは裏腹に、自分を縛るものを無視してどこまでも飛んでいきたいという気持ちもあります。大学入学を機に慣れ親しんだ土地を離れ秋田にしばらく身を置くことになり、旅や学生団体での活動を経て、今まで知らなかった外の世界の魅力を強く感じました。しかし外に出れば出るほど、「これだけ自由に場所を選ぶことができる時代に、地元は選ばれる地域になるのだろうか」と考えるようになりました。同時に、世の中には似た問いを抱える地域が多数存在することも知りました。

卒業を間近に控え社会との接続に悩んだ末、これから生きていく上で、一度は地元の消滅に立ち向かった人生でありたいと思うようになりました。そのためには、既にノウハウのある魅力的な海外や資源が豊富にある都市部ではなく、今まさに地方の課題の最前線に立ち、過酷な環境の中でそれでも楽しみを見出しながら生きている人たちからこそ学ぶ必要があると考えました。

今の湯沢には、自分のアイデンティティと向き合いながら、次世代に向けて何をするべきか本気で考え挑んでいる人たちがいます。課題が山積する混沌とした状況下で、それでも夢を見て生きるその姿は美しく、私にとっては希望でもあります。私自身も誰かにとって希望になれるよう、歴史ある岩崎の地で暮らし伝統産業に身を投じながら、研鑽を積んでいきたいと思います。

Message from Syunsuke Sawaguchi

My source of action and heart is in the Pacific Ocean as seen from the closing of my home school and the port. When I was the last graduate and the elementary school was gone, I felt the future of the town disappearing. The sense of crisis that the local area disappeared and the attachment that was brought up by the benefits of the land overlapped, and I began to feel that I was responsible for the future of the local community.

Contrary to that feeling, there is also a feeling that I want to fly as far as I can, ignoring what binds me. After leaving the land I was used to entering university, I left Akita for a while, and after traveling and working with student groups, I felt the charm of the outside world that I had never known before. However, the more I go out, the more I came to think, “Will the local area be the place of choice in an era where you can choose your place as freely?” At the same time, I learned that there are many areas in the world that have similar questions.

After graduating soon and struggling to connect with society, I decided to live a life that once faced the disappearance of the local community. To that end, people who are already at the forefront of local challenges and are still looking for fun in a harsh environment, not in an attractive overseas city with a wealth of know-how or in an abundance of resources. I thought it was necessary to learn from it.

At present Yuzawa, there are people who are seriously thinking about what to do for the next generation while confronting their identities. Even in a chaotic situation where there are a lot of challenges, I can still dream and live beautifully and it is a hope for me. I would like to study hard while living in the historical Iwasaki area and investing in traditional industries so that I can hope for others.

從我的家庭學校和港口關閉看，我的行動和心臟的來源是在太平洋。當我最後一個畢業生和小學不見了，我覺得這個小鎮的未來正在消失。當地消失的危機感和土地利益帶來的依戀重疊，我開始覺得我對當地社區的未來負責。

與那種感覺相反，也有一種感覺，我想盡可能地飛，而忽略了什麼束縛了我。離開這片土地後，我習慣進入大學，離開秋田一段時間，在與學生團體一起旅行和工作之後，我感受到了前所未有的外部世界的魅力。然而，我出去的越多，我就會越多地思考，“在一個你可以自由選擇你的地方的時代，當地是否會成為首選之地？”與此同時，我了解到世界上有許多地方都有類似的問題。

在很快畢業並努力與社會聯繫之後，我決定過一種曾經面臨當地社區消失的生活。為此，那些已經處於當地挑戰前沿並且仍然在惡劣環境中尋找樂趣的人們，而不是在擁有豐富專業知識或豐富資源的有吸引力的海外城市尋找樂趣。我認為有必要從中吸取教訓。

目前的湯澤，有些人在面對下一代的同時，正在認真考慮下一代該怎麼做。即使在一個充滿挑戰的混亂局面中，我仍然可以夢想和生活得很漂亮，這對我來說是一種希望。我想在歷史悠久的岩崎地區努力學習，投資傳統產業，這樣我就可以為別人帶來希望。

1994年岩手県洋野町生まれ。秋田大学国際言語文化課程卒。自身を最後の卒業生として130年続く小学校が閉校したことを機に地域のコミュニティの衰退を経験、地元の持続可能性に課題意識を持つ。
ローカルの課題解決の糸口として、新旧の価値観や世代間・地域内外の関係性を接続する存在である伝統産業に着目。地域に根付き公私の境界が曖昧な中で課題解決をすること自体が次世代の働き方であると捉え、2019年4月よりヤマモ味噌醤油醸造元、社会変革事業部に所属。
現在は人間のクリエイティヴィティが最大限発揮されるようなファシリテーションについて学んでいる。

Born in Hirono, Iwate Prefecture in 1994. Graduated from Akita University International Language and Culture Course. With herself as the last graduate, she experienced a decline in the local community when 130-year-old elementary school closed, and has a sense of issues in local sustainability.
As a clue to solving local problems, we focus on traditional industries that connect old and new values and relationships between generations and regions. Recognizing that solving the problem itself in the area where the public-private boundaries are vaguely rooted in the region is the next-generation work style, he belongs to Yamamoto Miso Soy Sauce Brewery and Social Transformation Division from April 2019.
