氷点下の世界に暮らすことは綺麗事ばかりではない。

不意に心配を煽ったり、耐えることを強いらせたり。

その日の気分も予定も、真っ白にしてしまう。

雪国で生まれ育つ人は、いつからか、

やり場のない不満を口にせず、黙々と作業を続けることを選んだ。

何も言わないんじゃない、少なからず何かを想っている。

どうしようもない天候に、怒りを思う時だってある。

年配の方が屋根に上がる光景だって、ちっとも微笑ましくなんかない。

それでも、変わらず、彼らは行動で示すから、

見上げる僕たちは、この遣り方で、この土地に生きるのだ。

Ice under the eaves

The way of a snowy country.

Since the ice made under the eaves is made from the complicated course of water, type and its color are awkward.
A compliment cannot be made “It is beautiful”, either.
It is not beautiful to live in the world below the freezing point.
It forces that it makes me uneasy and bears me.
The feeling of the day and a schedule will be made pure white.
Those who it is born and grow up in a snowy country did not complain, but chose to continue work.
They do not necessarily say nothing.
They consider something not a little.
On the weather which can be done what, they may consider anger.
There is even no spectacle which elderly one goes up to a roof somehow agreeably at all.
It does not change but they still continue showing by action.
Therefore, I live in this land by this way.
