• JETRO台湾食品ミッションについて 一日目

    今年の11月中旬、震災と原発の影響を受け、東北の企業を支援するためにJETROから台湾での商談会のお話をいただいていた。年末は社の繁忙期ではあるが、海外の動向を直に経験する良い機会と考え、渡航することを決めた。秋田県からは、稲庭うどん麻生商店*の友人、麻生孝一郎との2名、2社の参加であった。以下にその記録を綴りたいと思う。

    秋田空港―羽田空港ー台北国際(松山)空港―台北喜來登飯店商談会―焼肉石松―福華大飯店

     

    About the JETRO Taiwan food missions   _The first day
    It was subject to the influence of an earthquake disaster and a nuclear power plant, and in order to support a northeastern company, I received talk of the business talk meeting in Taiwan from JETRO in mid-November, this year. Although it was the busy time of my company, the good opportunity to experience an overseas trend soon was considered, and I decided to make a voyage. From Akita Prefecture, Koichiro Aso who is a friend of the Inaba Japanese noodles Aso store* also participated. I would like to carry out the report to below.

    Akita Airport – Haneda Airport – Chiang Kai-Shek Interanational Airport – Taipei Sheraton Hotel Business talk meeting – Ishimatu – Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei
    12月でも最高気温が20℃を超すことがあるという台湾。一方、0℃近い秋田の早朝。僕は上に羽織るコートも持たずに空港へと向かった。
    Taiwan that the maximum temperature may exceed 20 ℃ even in December. On the other hand, it is the early morning of nearly zero Akita. I went to the airport, without also having a coat put on upwards.

    今回はじめて羽田空港の国際線を利用した。コンパクトな国際空港のラウンジは、思っていたよりも狭く、広い国外へと渡航する気分には少し合わなかった。
    I used the international airline of Haneda Airport for the first time this time. The lounge of the compact international airport was narrow than expected, and did not suit feeling of making a voyage to outside the country, for a while.
     
    羽田からおよそ4時間のフライトの後に到着した台北はやはり暖かく、どんよりした曇り空。そして親近感の湧く雰囲気。
    It was warm in Taipei in which it arrived after the flight for about 4 hours from Haneda too. Although the weather was cloudy, it was the atmosphere in which a sense of closeness springs.

    タクシーの様子でその国の空気がわかる、と僕は思っている。台湾のそれは綺麗で、交通に秩序があることで、この国の様子を察した。
    I think that the air of the country is known by the situation of a taxi. It of Taiwan is beautiful, is that traffic has order, and guessed the appearance of this country.
     
    現地の方の背格好や表情などの影響もあり、街並は日本に似ているのだと思った。移動中にカメラを向けても、日本国内と変わらない写真ばかりが残った。
    I have influence of the stature in the direction of a spot, expression, etc., and thought that rows of houses resembled Japan. Even if it turned the camera during movement, only the photographs which are not different from the inside of Japan remained.
    シェラトンホテルの商談会場はしっかりとしていて、いい意味で身が引き締まるような、わくわくする空間だった。
    The business talk hall of the Sheraton Hotel was the exciting space that it was solid and the body became tight in a good meaning.

    通訳の方を介して商談を進める。食品バイヤーだけではなく、料理人やメディア、輸出入業者様など、広くお越しいただいた。
    It goes ahead with a business talk through interpreters. Not only a food buyer but a cook, media, the export-and-import contractor, etc. came widely.

    会場では優秀な通訳の方が多かったらしく、自分のブースも彼女の協力により、予想以上に捗った。安達さん、ありがとう!
    Seemingly there were many excellent interpreters and the talk also followed its booth by her cooperation beyond anticipation. Ms. Adachi, thank you!

    息を付く暇もなく、JETRO秋田の佐藤所長のご紹介で、石ケ森さんの経営する焼肉屋へと向かう。台湾の実情にはじまり、多方面での貴重なお話を訊かせていただいた。
    After the business talk, We went to the barbecue restaurant which Mr. Ishigamori manages by introduction of Director Sato of JETRO Akita. I started in the actual condition of Taiwan and was allowed to ask precious talk in the direction of many.
    たくさんの出逢いと貴重なお話を伺うことができ、初日にして既に実りある一日であった。通訳の方とお話をするだけでも、国民性や食文化を知ることができた。日本での報道でもあるように、言語や治安など、穏やかな国民性は海外ビジネスへのファーストステップとして有効であり、さらには大陸に向けての足がかりとなる。そして人口2,300万人のこの国には、熱心な方が多い。言語の扱いや、接し方でそれが分かるのである。単なる旅の高揚感だけではなく、さまざまなところで胸の高まる場所であった。
    I was able to have much encounter and a precious talk. The first day of Taiwan was one already fruitful day. Also only by speaking interpreters, I was able to know national traits and gastronomic culture interestingly. As it is in Japan’s report, language, the peace, and quiet national traits serve as introduction to overseas business. Furthermore, it becomes a foothold towards a continent. And this country with a population of 23 million has much more eager one. It is known depending on treatment and how to touch of language. Not only the upsurge of sentiment of a trip but Taiwan was a place which is interested also as business.
