視察最終日は市内を廻るため、打ち合わせを兼ねてマクドナルドに入ることにした。週末の朝はゆっくりで、人もまばら。店内は個人の女性客が多かった。
In order that the final day might inspect in the city, I decided to go into McDonald’s to serve also as an arrangement. People are also sparse calmly in the morning of a weekend. Inside of a shop had many individual woman customers.
大連賓館、旧大和ホテルを見学。３つ星ホテルとして現在も使用されており、今日も結婚式が執り行われるそうだ。金箔をあしらった装飾など、政府要人が使用した厳かな雰囲気はそのままだ。
The present Dalian Hotel was the old Yamato Hotel. It is said that it is used as a three star hotel still now, and a marriage ceremony is held today also. As for a solemn atmosphere which the government important person used, the ornament etc. which treated gold leaf remain as it is.
照明器具から家具に至るすべてがそのまま残されている。土地の少ない日本のスクラップアンドビルドではなく、中国ではそのまま残せるところは残し、別の場所に新しいものを建てるのが、この国の方法論。

ガイドや売り子の方々も日本語を理解していた。ターゲットを日本人に絞り、かつての文化を資源化し、展開している。雰囲気や感じのいい女性が多かったように思う。
A guide and salesmen also understood Japanese. It focuses on Japanese people, and once culture is recycled and it is developing. Women’s correspondence was kind.
中山広場周辺はゴシック建築が周囲を取り巻く。結婚記念の撮影が、同時に三組も行われていた。僕たちからすると、稀な機会に見えるが、現地の人からするとありふれた光景らしい。
In the circumference of the Nakayama open space, Gothic construction stands. 3 sets of photography of marriage commemoration were performed simultaneously. Seemingly although I can consider at a rare opportunity, it is a spectacle usual to the person of a spot.
次に旧満州鉄道本社を見学する。やはりこちらも当時のままに残している。様々なことが話し合われたであろう会議室の机や椅子、絨毯も重厚な雰囲気を醸し出している。
Next, I inspected South Manchuria Railways Co. It has left with that time also here after all. The desk of a conference room, chair, and carpet in which various things were probably discussed were also a profound atmosphere.
ショウケースに入れて資料も展示している。当時のアサヒグラフまでもが丁寧にケースに入っていた。何でもとにかく取っておくということなのか。保存に対して徹底しているところは、好意的に受け止めた。

満州鉄道のMIロゴ入りグラスを販売している。当時の収蔵品を販売し、その利益により建物を保存をしているという。レプリカを売り、収蔵品を確保して保存するなら分かるのだが。いったいどこまでが本当なのか。
The glass with MI logo of the Manchuria railroad was sold. A collection of those days is sold and it is said that the building is saved by the profits. A replica is sold, and if a collection is secured and saved, I understand. Where on earth is true?
ジャンクのジャンルは個人的に好きなのだが。ここの人たちにはどのように映っているのだろうか。綺麗で新しいものに慣れた中国の若い世代は、特にこのジャンルに関心が薄いという。

ガイドの方は日本語学校に一年通い、ここでさらに勉強をしているそうだ。親日の街ということを実感できた瞬間だった。そして漏れることなく、商魂逞しい。

ランチはカルフールの地下で回転寿司を試してみた。どのネタもビールも清酒もすべて６元（７８円）。気軽さと安さも手伝ってか、昼時は満席であった。
Our lunch tried the revolving sushi on the underground of Carrefour. All also of which sushi, beer, and Japanese sake are 6 yuan (78 yen). Everybody could eat freely, and since it was cheap, it was no vacancy at lunchtime.
肝心の味のほうは、日本の回転寿司チェーンとほとんど変わらなかった。味噌汁はスプーン付で提供され、安心できる味。一方、練りワサビは緑色が濃く、辛味が強い。ガリは独特の甘酢が効いていた。
The taste of sushi resembled the revolving sushi chain of Japan. Miso soup was a taste which is offered with a spoon and can feel easy. On the other hand, a kneading Japanese horseradish has deep green and its pungent condiment is strong. Gary’s peculiar sweetened vinegar was effective.
大連港に向かう途中、街中に点在するゴシック建築に遇う。ただし、こちらの現在の用途はサウナだそうだ。多少の疑問があるにせよ、ただただ、それができていることが今の中国の凄さである。
There was Gothic construction with which it is dotted all over a town on the way to the Dalian Harbor. However, it is said that the present use here is a sauna. Even if use of a building has some questions, it is the dreadfulness of present China that it is made.
お茶の専門店に入る。こちらの要望を訊き、実際に提供してくれる従来のサーヴィスのもの。これまで多かった猪突猛進型の接客に比べ、この店の接客はほどよい距離感だった。
We went into the specialty store of tea. The thing of the conventional Sir screw which asks the request here and it actually offers. Compared with the direct thing reception which was until now, reception of this store was natural.
ロシア人街は正面の旧大連自然博物館まで、物売りの屋台が両側に出揃っていた。ロシアと中国が混ざり合う独特な文化は、他では見ることのない異様な品が多かった。
To the European-style buildings where a Russian Town is main, the stall of the peddler was coming out fully on both sides. The peculiar culture with which Russia and China are mixed had at others much strange elegance which is not seen.

From the Russian Town, the old apartment with a feeling of a life appeared. In the beautiful high-rise apartment building under construction, it seemed to be conspicuous on the contrary. Dalian is also the middle of the old and new vortex to weave, and the life of people continues also in it.
The old thing tends to be neglected in the process in which things new rise. However, it was thought that he did not forget for this town to leave it with history. An opportunity for the young generation of this country to also study to a once thing will certainly be visited. Moreover, I thought that it would not have a portion which can say, “That is right” in Japan.
