昨年、湯沢市が主宰する海外販路拡大セミナーに参加した縁があり、稲庭手延製麺株式会社様からお声掛けをいただき、今回の事業に参加させていただきました。僕は主に現地の市場調査を担当することになりました。中国東北部に位置する港湾都市、大連を４泊５日というスケジュールで調査をして参りました。放射能問題を抱える日本の現状では、どういうかたちであれ、外に出ることを切望しておりました。そして、またとない機会を得ることができ、感謝の気持ちは絶えることがありません。また、それに見合う成果を得られたと自負しております。ここに、そのレポートを残したいと思います。

About China and the Dalian business talk meeting market research _The first day
I participated in the overseas market expansion seminar which Yuzawa superintends last year. It is invited from Inaniwa Tenobe Seimen Co.,Ltd which became acquainted then, and I was allowed to participate in this enterprise. I will take charge of the market research of a spot. The harbor city and Dalian which are located in the China Azuma northern part were investigated to the schedule of four nights and five days. Since the problem of radioactivity had Japan, I wished to go abroad. And I am glad to be able to obtain an opportunity to go out.
Moreover, it is self-confident as that the result corresponding to it was able to be obtained. I would like to leave the report here.

Akita Airport – Haneda Airport – Narita Airport – Dalian Airport – Hotel Nikko -Japanese restaurant – Hotel Nikko
仙台空港が被災し、再開までの目処が未だに立っていない。朝８時前出航の便に乗り、秋田―羽田―成田経由での大連入りは、到着が現地時間４時過ぎの一日がかりの移動となった。
Sendai Airport suffers a great deal of damage, and the prospect to resumption does not yet stand. It rode on the plane of a departure ago 8:00 in the morning, and, as for arriving in Dalian via Akita – Haneda – Narita, arrival became movement on the first of past 4:00.
飛行機を降りると、早速の飛行場内バスでの移動。少し肌寒いが、忙しない中国人ビジネスマンの姿が目立っていた。
We came down and moved the airplane by bus in an airfield. It was somewhat chilly in the spot and the restless Chinese businessman’s figure was conspicuous.
まだまだ改装中の大連空港は揮発性物質の匂いが嫌味なほどに漂う、不快で真新しい空港だった。場所によっては呼吸器を覆いたくなるような中、人々の往来は絶えることが無かった。
The Dalian Airport under modification was an unpleasant and brand-new airport which drifts, so that the smell of volatile matter is ironic still more. Although we wanted to come to cover respiratory organs, people’s traffic did not cease.
空港からタクシーを待つ人々の群れ。そのほとんどが日本人。騙そうとする輩と、真摯に仕事をこなす職員が混在する場所。このカオスが中国・大連そのもの。
The group of people who wait for a taxi from an airport. The most is a Japanese. The fellows who try to deceive, and the place where the personnel who manage work earnestly are intermingled. This chaos is China and Dalian itself.
相変わらずの荒いタクシーの運転と、一昨年前に見たイミテーションの車が走っていない現実。ここは高級車がしっかりと高級車でいられる場所になったということ。
Reality which operation of a rude taxi as usual and the car of the imitation seen before the year before last are not running. Say that it became a place in which a luxury car can be present with a luxury car firmly here.
大連駅周辺では多くのクレーンが見え、まだまだ開発が進む。スモッグが掛かる街は、大連市民にとって、もはや当たり前の景色と化したのか。
Many cranes appear and development progresses still more around Dalian Station. Has the town which requires smog already turned into a natural scene for Dalian residents?
五つ星のホテル、日航飯店は流石の内装とスタッフ陣だった。ロビーでは日本語堪能なスタッフと、日本人ビジネスマンで溢れていた。
Hotel Nikko of the five-star hotel was true interior and members of the staff. In a lobby, there were many staff who can speak Japanese, and Japanese businessmen.
その日の夜は大連市経済貿易局招商一局のQi Bolinさんの紹介で日本料理店を視察。鯛の刺身や納豆など、日本と変わらないようなメニューが並ぶ。醤油は出し入りのものであった。
The Japanese restaurant was inspected on the night of the day by introduction of Mr. Qi Bolin of the Dalian economy International Trade Administration Bureau. They were menus which are not different from Japan, such as sliced raw fish, fermented soybeans, etc. of a sea bream. Broth was contained in soy sauce.
一般に利用できそうな飲食店はスタイリッシュな姿となり、身なりに気を遣った顧客が食を謳歌している。これも、昨年の上海で見た景色と異なるところ。速さを知らないことは、愚かであると思う。
The restaurant which is generally used serves as a stylish figure, and the customer who was anxious about the dress is glorifying food. A different place from the scene which this also looked at in Shanghai last year. I think it foolish not to know speed.
一方でコンビニエンスストアは、まだまだかつての景色であった。ただし、同じような雰囲気でも異彩を放つのは洋酒の存在。ここにも時代の速さが存在している。
On the other hand, the convenience store was a still once scene. However, it is existence of wine that it is conspicuous also in the same atmosphere. The speed of a time exists also here.
大連は歴史ある街。路面電車のレールが路の中央に敷かれた、いにしえの街。今も豊かな港湾都市。片側二車線の道路を車のヘッドライトが止むこと無く交差する。トレンチコートに身を包んだ若い娘が自由に闊歩する都市である。
われわれ日本人はまだまだ誤解をしている。発展途上国というレッテルは、自分から遠いどこかではないかと。それは決して遠くはなく、行き交う人も同じ人である。いや、これは僕自身の穿った心の現れなのだろう。昨年上海を訪問した僕の価値観は、初日にして、もはや崩壊していたのかもしれない。
Dalian is a historied town. The town of antiquity where the rail of the streetcar was laid in the center of a way. A still rich harbor city. It crosses without the headlight of a car stopping the road of single-sided 2 lane. It is a city which the young daughter who wrapped herself in the trench coat strides freely.
We the Japanese have misunderstanding still more. A label called developing countries is as it is somewhere far from itself. It is by no means far and those who go back and forth are also the same persons. No, probably, this is expression of the heart which me myself dug. The sense of values of me who visited Shanghai last year was made into the first day, and possibly has already collapsed.
