冬支度の明かり。
冬支度で辺りは例年以上に忙しなく、
縁側ではいよいよ積雪用の“囲い”も始まった。
“囲い”のされた縁側は鈍い明かりとなり、
それが寒さにも乗ってしまうから余計に鋭さを増す。
だから身近で鮮やかに咲く小菊の黄色たちが特別に映る。
この黄色は、紅葉で色付いたそれとは異なる黄色。
それは、生命力溢れる“咲く”ことで出せる黄色。
冬を目の前に、枯れない鮮やかさで魅せるから、
僕は目を離せなくなる。
