ゴヨウキキ茂助・カフェ*の出店の際、3MLの井上さん*にお願いして、オリジナルのトレーとマウスパッドをつくることにしました。白井晟一氏のつくりあげた空間で使用するものに、自分たちの気持ちを吹き込みたかったからです。打ち合わせを重ね、両者の焼き印も入れることにしました。
力強い印象の楢材を使用し、木材の質感を十分に感じられるよう、ワックスは薄めの仕上げにしました。ひとつひとつを手作りで行っているため数は少ないですが、販売をしてみようと思います。
以下、ご説明をいたします。
Goyoukiki Mosuke × 3ML WORKS -Limitted Edition- / Tray / Mouse Pad
When I open the cafe, I decided to ask Mr./Ms. Inoue, and to make an original tray and mouse pad. It is because it wanted to blow in our feelings to the one used in the space that Mr. Shirai made up. We decided to pile up meeting, and to put the combustion sign of both.
Wax was made finish of thinning so that the quality feeling of wood was felt enough by using the Japanese oak material of a powerful impression. I will sell it though the number is little because it goes handmade one by one.
Hereafter, I will explain.

シンプルなトレーです。シンプルがゆえに強度、作りもしっかりとしています。角の補強、強度を増す方法で、額縁や留めの箱組などに適用する「挽き込み留組」を用いています。
It is a simple tray. Because the tray is simple, strength and making are firmly made. The technique of “HIKIKOMITOMEGUMI” is used by the method of increasing reinforcement and strength of the corner.

納品時にその完成度の高さに驚きました。木目のひとつひとつが異なるので側面が揃うと、綺麗なグラデーションのように見えます。
I was surprised at a high quality of the tray when goods was delivered. When the side becomes complete, it sees it like a beautiful gradation because grained each one is different.

背面の中央に焼印が入っています。焼き加減がそれぞれ異なるのも、人が仕事を成しているということ。出来上がりに焼印を入れるのは大変緊張する作業です。
There is a brand in the center of the back of the tray. Because the combustion sign is put by the hand work, of each is different. It is very strained to put the brand.

大きさの比較のため、キウィを置いてみました。一食分をばっちり載せることができるカフェプレートのようなサイズ感です。
The kiwi was put on the tray for the comparison of the sizes. It is a size feeling like the cafe plate where one food can be put.

裏返して花台として使用した例です。高さ25mmの多用途の台座として、無垢の楢材に味を出させていくのも面白そうです。
It is an example of turning the tray inside out and use as the jardiniere. It is possible to use it as a plinth of all-round of 25mm in height.

個人的に欲しくてオーダーしたマウスパッドです。こちらもシンプルなつくりで、様々な場面で活躍してくれます。
It is mouse pad that I personally ordered. In making that this is simple, it takes an active part by various scenes.

プライウッドの側面も滑らかに仕上がっています。5mmの適度な厚みがあります。
The side of the plywood has finished smoothly. There is a moderate thickness of 5mm in this mouse pad.

正方形のマウスパッドなので場所を取り過ぎず、デスクでの使い勝手が良いです。木材の質感や漂う香りもまた、心地良く感じます。
It doesn’t take up space too much because it is square mouse pad, and convenience in the desk is good. I also feel the feeling of quality of wood and the drifting smell agreeable.

焼印を押し当てる小手の金属部分です。井上さんの繋がりがある職人さんに作成を依頼しました。細部まで綺麗に掘り込まれた焼印だから、美しく仕上がります。
It is a metallic portion of a small hand to which the brand is held. Making was requested from the workman who had Mr./Ms. Inoue’s connection. This is a brand that beautifully digs even up the detail and is crowded.
