静か、流るる。
真冬の岩崎橋から臨んだ皆瀬川。
雪化粧をしてモノトーンの世界。
今年の雪は極端で、一晩にあれよあれよと景色が変わる。
しかし、どれだけ雪が降ろうとも、川の流れは変えられない。
すべてを白で呑み込む事はできない。
下流の穏やかなところでも、変わらず流れる静かな強さ。
年々実感する、雪国の人々の我慢強さ。
雪国に住む時分、分かっているはずなのに、
この川に重ねずにはいられなかった。

Minase river of snow
It flows quietly.
I saw the Minase river from the Iwasaki bridge by below zero.
The snow was made up and it became the world of mono tones.
Scenery suddenly changes extremely into this year’s snow at night.
However much it snows, the flow of the river is not changed.
Everything cannot be swallowed in white.
The edge of the river that misses sideward doesn’t change and flow.
I felt quiet strength in this river.
